Bingo!

What is laughable? What will we do to end this?
Iran is also affecting some pretty powerful “allies” that may step in at some point because of how it’s messing with their oil.

It was an inadequate response but that's okay. Sally says well, we will just go kick their asses now, finally.

Almost any AI agent can assist you in presenting your points more clearly so as to avoid that wall of text
quote:
The U.S. says the straits are open; Iran disrupts shipping with attacks and fees.
Missile threats (including toward a U.S. ship) and insurer pullback are limiting traffic.
Iran may be prolonging the conflict to create political and economic pressure on the U.S.
Risks include higher gas prices, economic strain, and threats to regional oil facilities.
The U.S. is hesitant to escalate militarily, especially with ground troops or renewed air campaigns.
Key question - I get what to expect from the Poliboarders now—but how are we actually gonna wrap this up?

I notice you've proffered no solutions... just an endless wringing of hands and steady stream of sarcasm.

That sounds like an Iran problem, a regional problem. No doubt it would also become our problem- which is why I imagine Trump is trying to avoid that tactic.
You are fed up with me and the topic. I see.

hence an Iranian victory.
What did Iran do of significance? We rolled in and took out most of their leadership and military assets. Not saying we “won a war” but we achieved a lot very quickly that no other country has shown to come close to. We were never going to put large number of forces in to clear their country. Irans economy is toast, brics took a major blow, Irans allies did absolutely nothing to help them.

You are a malcontent with no ideas, just complaints. I'm not so much fed up with you as I am bored of you.

You mentioned stalemate and Iranian victory.

I don't run the military so I don't know how we proceed to victory. I really don't. I get the feeling Trump is resisting resumption of kinetic activity as much as he can't this time. It has been said we are working to lock up as much of their oil production as possible so that they have to shut in production and hence destroy old poorly maintained or mechanically unsound wells. We can wait that out as it is supposed to happen within two to three weeks. I'd ask you do you think we should return to bombing with the goal of taking out all infrastructure? It's a touch choice.

DeBoar, all but your last statement were true.
Iran's allies have done plenty. Russia has supplied them with suicide drones, China continues to buy what oil they can ship and get this, today Pakistan opened up 6 land routes to THEIR ports effectively making an end run around the blockade.
Iran doesn't have to win, just not lose.

Iranians can only "drag it" as far and as long as we allow them to do so. That won't be forever.
We have a well established history of letting our Arab friends drag these types of adventures out.

Iranian victory is if the Mullahs and IRGC stay in charge. This war is an existential threat to them. The situation in the SoH is currently a stalemate.

True.
I honestly think it can be different this time.

Iran has no more nukes.
Mission accomplished.
Mission accomplished.
