There is talk of a stalemate, hence an Iranian victory.

Currently we sit at stalemate whereby as the US declares the straits open, the Iranians shut it down by attacking ships and charging tariffs for passage. It is the first time there has been an action against free navigation on the open seas. That's part of the reason we have a blue ocean Navy. And even today it is said Iran fired a missile towards a US Navy ship. At this point there is also limited movement of ships because insurers won't underwrite the risk. It is said Iran now plans to draw this out in the anticipation it will drag down the popularity of Trump and the GOP by association going into the mid terms. I've heard it discussed today that the price of gasoline is expected to rise to five bucks a gallon on average again putting pressure on the actions of the Trump administration and perhaps moving the world economy into recession. Iran continues to shoot missiles toward their neighbors and threaten to take out oil facilities in the surrounding countries. We get proclamations from DJT but we are certainly unwilling and understandably so to commit ground troops to searching out and finding missile launch sites.
Iran since the ceasefire has been able to come up with a strategy to drag this out and drag down the popularity of DJT. And I'm sure there is pressure in the world that Trump figure this out. I don't think he is anxious to again start back with the air war. And who knows what new material such as shoulder fired missiles Iran has gotten through whatever means.
So how will this end? Now I know what to expect in discussion from the PoliBoarders but really, what will we do to finish this?

Wall of text!
Iranians can only "drag it" as far and as long as we allow them to do so. That won't be forever.

I say boots on the ground. Do it right. Hunt down the RG and cohorts. Make an example of them.

Block the Strait.
Their economy collapses.

It really can be.
Problem is that Trump really does value peace and cooperation; a win/win.
I don't think it's possible with islamists... but you nor anyone else can say Trump didn't give them a chance.

I'm guessing you will say, we crash their economy or we will blow up every power plant and bridge in the country as Trump has said. Why haven't we done this? Iranians have been stringing us along.

Let’s say the Iranians are right and Trump decides to throw in the towel and leave - he won’t just slip away quietly, he’s going to flatten Karge Island or take some other action that will cripple Iran for a decade.

So? What will we do? I'll accept we will just beat their asses and that's that.

How they going to feed the people or provide electricity to them?
You are assuming the large Iranian population is going to be ok with this until November?
There are some fricking retards that post here. You are one of them.
