There is no winning anymore in modern American politics.

We are at a point where, regardless who the president is, half of the country will rebel.
My mother in law has turned into a typical Trump basher. Anything the man says is wrong.
“Why is he telling us we have enough test yet hospitals are turning people away?”
Because the shite still cost time and money, and if you sneeze it doesn’t mean you have Covid 19. If he would have said, “We just don’t have enough rest available unfortunately”, you would have said he’s not doing his job or he’s lying because the hospitals don’t want to test everyone.
The same applies for when a democrat is elected again. Republicans will be destroying everything they say... it just a stupid mentality that America is infected with right now.
I guarantee you if everyone turned the news off for 2 weeks the entire mindset of the country would change. We may not know what’s going on, but do we need to know every little bad thing that happens in the world?

When Bush enacted the Patriot Act most republicans were for it and democrats against it (due to freedom). When Obama got in office all of a sudden republicans were for freedom and democrats were for more gov't intrusion. If Obama would have been in office and did the exact same thing Trump just did most democrats would have been for it and most republicans against it. It'a all pathetic.

They don’t exist in the Democratic Party any more. Anyone who says they are a liberal while supporting the modern Democratic Party is flat out lying. You cannot be a liberal and exist in that party. The political stances of the mainstream DNC and liberalism cannot coexist.

Exactly! Obama did no wrong. Democrats would have you believe Obama was a top 3 president in American history. Idk what he did for America other than allow it to continue to divide, and I don’t blame Obama entirely for that. He is a cool guy seems very nice, but he didn’t stand up to the media and stop it from dividing America even further. At least trump is standing up to the bs.

Bingo. Modern Dem party is authoritarian left, liberals lost their voice.
Liberals value civil rights, Progs only value specific civil rights based on voting bloc. They would love to rewrite the constitution.

Most Republicans were screaming to the sky when Obama signed his stimulus bill, which was less than 1/3 of what Trump just signed.

Agreed. The extremes tend to control both parties.
