I owned 3 of them up until a few weeks ago. Boat accident in the Spillway. Not sure why so many AR/gun owners are stricken by boat accidents. Must be the guns causing all these accidents. Damn guns…

There’s is 0% chance Pavlich said that. She was talking about how uninformed gun grabbers are I’m sure.

Absolutely correct, and the AR stands for Armalite Rifle, the company that initially made the weapon, not “assault rifle”.

Armalite Richfield. It was a division of Fairchild Aviation for weapons development.

I took a boating safety course and am a skilled boater, so I still have mine. And I’m getting older and bored and fed up and would love the opportunity to shoot up a bunch of damn revenuers.

Come and get it Beto.

Yep. Both are semi automatic gas operated 5.56 rifles.

But one is scary and black. So it must be banned.

Well that’s nice but the Second Amendment doesn’t have a thing to do with hunting.

I have two we hunt with.

One rigged for hogs in 7.62x39 configuration
.

One for the kids due to the lightweight and the low recoil. With the fusion rounds it is very effective against large game inside of 100 yards.

and 20k gun related homicides. even if every gun homicide was committed with an AR. and each one was caused by a different AR. there would still only be a .01 PERCENT chance of being a victim of a crime committed with an AR.

If you did the real numbers (taking into account that probably 80 percent are committed with pistols).. then.. well.. you know.. but it's not about safety it's about control. sounds eerily similar to COVID.

Aren’t AR-15’s and similar rifles just like regular hunting rifles in that 1 trigger pull = 1 round? Is the difference mainly just that they look cooler or more menacing? Correct me if I’m wrong.

And women love them once they get over the initial fear of how "powerful/scary" they look, as they don't have nearly as much kick as a shotgun does.

I lived in Ohio for years. Had several friends who were experienced hunters. They would always go up to Wisconsin when they wanted to go big time hunting.
