Absolutely correct, and the AR stands for Armalite Rifle, the company that initially made the weapon, not “assault rifle”.

20M AR patterned rifles that they know about....the number built from 80% lowers 'off thier books' is likely 20-25% of the known. Wonder if that number includes AR pistols?
