My point is that he probably has a solid defense in the second encounter, that crowd would have killed him. That being said, after he regains his feet, he appears to shoot at people who aren't close to him at all. Don't know if he hit anyone, but those shots could land him in jail.

I feel really bad for the kid. He was justified and he should get cleared, but to quote Clint Eastwood, "It is a hell of a thing killing a man.."
