He mainly did it because it allowed huge teleprompters and privacy. Covid is an excuse as he’s the president of the US and accommodations should be made around him, Trump never had a problem during Covid as he was in the press room almost every day. You’re acting like Biden wasn’t kept out of sight during the election or during his term because of his mental and health conditions.
