Schools are gun free zones until some one decides to ignore that rule and shoot up the place. Mass shootings happen in gun free zones not at the local firing range.

If I put a sign outside my house that said "There are 15 guns inside and I know how to use them all" should I expect that to deter armed intruders? I mean it's just a sign, do people really stop and go "Gun free zone? frickin a, I guess I'll go back and drop it in my truck"?
