Man what creativity. You should get offline, go snuggle up to your spouse, and whisper in her ear about how you’re going to disappoint her tonight like you’ve never disappointed her before. Maybe you could get her a session with a personal trainer for Christmas so she could see what it’s like to be sexually fulfilled for once.

You are nothing more than a pussy boy that values foreign countries more than the one you live in.
I'll bet you value your neighbors more than your own family.
I have no doubt your wife sleeps around.

The outrage isn’t about the flag alone, and you know that.
The anger is obviously primarily directed at our involvement. But again, you already knew that.

I’m guessing a shite ton of Americans share your embarrassment.

Genuinely curious if that has ever happened before

Oh Mickey. I know you didn’t play baseball with that swing and miss.

Ok, now we can stop the insults and have a real discussion. It’s not about the flag.
I’m watching a show with my wife right now. I will come back and discuss this with you in a bit and I doubt we’ll agree, but we can at least have a real conversation.
If I end up drinking too much this evening I’ll come back and share my perspective about our involvement in the morning.

Alright…where to start without exhausting all the points of the bat…
1) Russia has invaded a sovereign nation that serves as a buffer between themselves (Russia) and NATO allies. Should that buffer fail, and a NATO ally be invaded the US would be required by international agreements to directly interdict such aggression. This further aggression by Russia is hypothetical, but assumptions about future moves can be supported by Putin directed moves in Georgia, Chechnya, Crimea, the “separatist” regions of Ukraine (which I’d invite you to view previous years’ polling data on separation from Ukraine in those regions and find that the majority of the Donbas and Luchansk regions did not favor separation), etc. Assumptions can also be made based on previous and current rhetoric from Putin’s Kremlin, which I’ll leave up to you sift through unless you’d like me to pull out snippets (such snippets could easily be construed as cherry picking and I’d like to avoid that to keep the conversation as good faith as possible).
2) So first point has a pretty big assumption about which could be proven or disproven only in waiting and seeing. Currently our military expenditure in supporting Ukraine is much lower than it would be than if we were required to directly engage in a non-proxy war with Russia. As it stands now, Ukraine is holding strong with stockpiled NATO/US weaponry that doesn’t represent our most advanced or expensive equipment, and no requirement of US or NATO troop casualties is being made.
I’ll stop there and let you counter, and we can continue on.

Why are you linking pictures of a mostly peaceful political rally?

Because you’re an idiot and I’m trying to have a discussion with another poster. Step out.

No you're not. You pointedly ignored the concerns about misspent and laundered tax payer dollars.

And you’re assuming I won’t get to the point or missed the implied reference to that that’s already been made.
