That's because that's exactly what it was always intended to be. Twitter, Facebook, etc were created by DARPA with the express purpose of molding the thoughts and influencing the minds of the masses.

Media companies (social or otherwise) are now and forever will be a tool of the people that are chosen to run them.
Liberals are fine with all the justification for limiting conservative thought on Twitter. Their actions were in fact enough to sway many future/current elections.

After all these Twitter Files are release guess who remains standing and stronger? Yes, the FBI/DHS/CIA, the administrative state.
Twitter Files have the hallmarks of a massive administrative state deflection campaign.
IMO over time Twitter and the federal government have become more and more intertwined over time. Before 2014 Twitter never made money. The costs of hosting twitter post, personnel and physical infrastructure was greater than the ad revenue they could make. But as the federal government became more and more intertwined with Twitter, Twitter became a valuable asset to the federal government.
The federal government could not allow Twitter to go out of business. In order to help Twitter survive the federal government reduced the costs of operations by providing tax payer funded infrastructure at federal government owned server farms. Twitters cost per Twitter posts drastically decreased over time and they started to show a profit.
But this was a problem. Other social media platforms like Twitter realized that once they reach a certain user base and post count the business model is unsustainable without corresponding ad revenue. Questions started to arise about how is Twitter making money?
This question bothered the actors in the administrative state. They wanted to and continue to want to hide the Twitter/federal government partnership.
Enter Elon who already has very strong business relationships with the federal government.
Not only does Elon buy Twitter, Elon takes Twitter private. Now the Twitter/federal government partnership can be hidden, almost completely hidden.
What is the biggest threat to Twitter?
Other social media sites.
By doing these Twitter File dumps it has two primary objectives:
1. To bring conservatives back to Twitter from other social media platforms with the goal of strengthening Twitter which strengthens the Twitter/deep state partnership.
2. To mollify the right. I believe the deep state has realized that if they continue to divide it can only lead to violence. If it gets too violent not only will the right and left fight with each other but there will be many targets within the deep state. That is not sustainable.
So in the end of these Twitter Files the administrative state will not be harmed and will grow stronger.
The irony is, deep state actors in the federal government ARE THE PROBLEM. Not Twitter employees but all these Twitter File dumps focus on former Twitter employees.

But you would have known all this before the election.
Oh and reading through this they tried to get rid of Kraken on Twitter but a cryptocurrency is named that so they had to allow it.
They wanted to deamplify anything related to the stolen election.
