Or was this just worded badly
The way to win wars is demoralize the people. They crumble from within.
You win wars by breaking shite and killing people ... period.

Oh, that would be terrorism? But .... if Trump did it, it’s somehow not?
I’m amazed at how intent is interpreted and believed so strongly by some. Here is what Trump actually said in the tweet...
quote:
important to Iran & the Iranian culture
So some of the targeted location are important to Iranian culture. That does NOT guarantee it is a “cultural site” as every MSM headline would suggest.
Let’s pretend it’s 1860 and a foreign country were to attack a portion of the transcontinental railroad. Would that be a war crime? Because at that time the railroad could have certainly been “important to the US and American culutre,” while also having legitimate military/strategic value.
I don’t get why some mosque where a high value target is known to be 5 times a day, gets a hellfire put through a window to eliminate said target, is suddenly a war crime? Would that building (which now has been damaged) not possibly be considered important to Iranian culture?
I don’t get why reading comprehension for so many, is so stinking hard...

If our enemies use these mosques for cover to hide from aerial bombardment, then shame on them. To me it would be fair game to target.

I drop so many bombs that it would be hard to see a roach move in a week.

He's trying to be as mean and hurtful as he can, because that is what he does. Unfortunately his moral compass is based on the early 20th century and the USA and world has evolved since then.
I don't think he would ever hit such targets, but then again he has little value for culture
I bet you sound just like John Ritter’s character Vaughn on Sling Blade saying this .

I’m seeing conversation that destroying sites of cultural significance would be a war crime. Is that true?

I would think killing the ayatollah would meet all satisfactions, cultural importance and the like. I dont think he means blowing up a church. That's not something to jive to.

Some of you might be too young to remember but Saddam Hussein hid/ placed Mig fighters near sone of Iraq's most holiest/oldest cultural sites knowing that we would not strike them for fear of world/Islam allies backlash

I would hope his staff would recommend not to target historical/cultural places. It’s a bad image. This ayatollah has been spouting off about killing Americans. I’d be okay to see him go.

bombing of non-military cultural sites
If they are mosques, I honestly don't give a shite. They are the source of most everything that is wrong with the world today. I hate saying that, but it is undeniably true.

I'd say it depends on where the targets are hanging out. If some of the top dogs hang out in some mosque intending to use it as a shield, why not? These groups are not above similar behavior.
Wrong.
Those frickers destroy historical sites to erase history. Much like Progressives. Hmm.
Cultural sites i.portant to the Mullahs may not be cultural sites important to Persians.

This guy gets it. Trump didn't say we're targeting cultural sites.

Fortunately, it will be military officers carrying out orders. And they won't. It's a war crime.
Posted on 1/5/20 at 11:34 pm to DavidTheGnome
It’s obvious Trump is talking about targeting sheep and goats with large thighs.

If only he'd done strike his own citizens like Barry did, right?

This would be really insane if he attacks the Iranian cultural sites. It would be similar to what isis did to the heritage sites in Syria .

If there's terrorists hiding in a cultural building IDGAF. Make like Godzilla and flatten it.

What happened when the Germans holed up in Christian churches across Europe? We leveled them.
If you think DJT is going to let the followers of a religion that is about as legit as Scientology hide out under their little domes, you have to be as dumb as a rock.

Psychological warfare.
If he targets their favorite retirement home with the attached preschool, I would have an issue.
