Magistrates aren’t Article III Judges. They aren’t appointed by the President or approved by the senate.
They are hired by the court, via job posting, like any staff.

They also must be approved by a majority vote of the active District Judges in the district. In the Southern District of Florida, there are currently 15 such judges, 7 Dem appointees and 8 GOP appointees (5 appointed by Trump).

Does anyone else think having such a low ranking judge be able to sign a search warrant on an ex-president which might have national security implications is a major issue??? Seems like this would need to clear at least at the federal circuit court level.

He faced ethics issues because he was working on the team investigating/prosecuting Epstein on Jan. 1 and on Jan 2 was representing Epstein’s team.

I'm Curious. Does anybody know if this guy's name is listed anywhere on a Lolita Express Passenger List? Maybe even the same flight as Bill Clinton or Bob Menendez (NJ)?[chuckle]
Dang, these people associated with Epstein keep popping up everywhere. Now you tell me he signed the search warrant on the "RAID" on former President Trump. The same Donald J. Trump who once kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago for offending the female hired help.
Hummmm? I will have to follow this tentacle closely. I need more evidence before I can make a reasonable effort to connect the dots.
