Why didn't that cop shoot them? I would say being knocked to the ground and kicked by a pack of rabid animals is grounds for deadly force.
Poor Austin barely shoved one and got knifed in the heart, so they shoukd completely understand getting shot after knocking a cop to the ground. I’m sure they would not riot and tear the city apart.

Last night at the Shrewsbury SkyZone in St. Louis.
The hits keep coming.

Knowing they will simply be released is plenty of motivation to not even try.
Police arrested four teens in South St. Louis a couple nights ago. They were attempting to break into cars. A 17 year old had a handgun. They were all released to their parents within a few hours from juvenile.

We need some kind of summer “boot camp” for teens caught up in these things. Something that will give them some sense of pride and some discipline. Nobody should want all of these kids to see jail but a program they will dread going to but will definitely be long term beneficial would be ideal.

To be fair, detaining someone when you are outnumbered 100-1 probably isn’t easy.

NO!
Guns and lots of them - thin the herd and we all will be better off years down the road
Less expense on our justice system and our jails

What the new term for black people phobia ?
These kids have no fear of authority or boundaries
Diversity?
I see none in this footage

Sorry, but I am fresh out of empathy. I want to see every one of them who was involved arrested, charged, sentenced, and then incarcerated in a speedy manner.

Bubonic plague. Not Black plague.
It later earned the English name Black Death from the Latin “mors atra”. Interestingly, the French called it “morte bleue” or Blue Death.

Is it really a “teen” problem. I see a common theme with all these teens

Surprise surprise. Grok confirmst its's "Them".
Predominantly Black (likely 70-90%+ in most reported urban incidents), based on available context and patterns.
splcenter.org
"Teen disrupters" (or "teen takeovers"/flash mob events) typically refer to recent social media-organized large gatherings of teens in U.S. cities (e.g., Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Orlando, DC) that often escalate into fights, robberies, vandalism, or chaos, overwhelming police. These are distinct from general teen demographics.
cnn.com
Key observations:Visuals and reporting: Videos, arrests, and eyewitness accounts from these events (Chicago "trends," flash mob shoplifting, mall/pool takeovers) consistently show overwhelming majorities of Black participants, especially in downtown/urban flashpoints. Media often uses euphemisms like "teens" or "youth," with some outlets noting "Black and Latino" while criticizing "racial profiling" concerns.
wbez.org
Historical precedent: Similar "flash mob" robberies and disruptions in the 2010s (Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Chicago) were documented as primarily involving Black urban teens.
splcenter.org
No comprehensive national race breakdown: The FBI's flash mob shoplifting report (2020-2024) details ~3,300 qualifying incidents, young offenders (42%+ ages 10-19), but does not publicly break out race in summaries. Arrest data for shoplifting overall and juvenile crime skews toward higher Black representation in urban NIBRS/UCR stats relative to population.
fbi.gov
Context vs. general population: U.S. teens overall are ~49-51% non-Hispanic White, ~25-26% Hispanic, ~14-15% Black.
actforyouth.org
Disruptive events are heavily skewed toward specific urban subgroups, not a random cross-section. Participation correlates with cities having large Black youth populations in certain neighborhoods, family structure issues, and lower supervision—not race causally.
These patterns appear in Chicago (South/West Side origins, downtown incursions), Philly, and similar cities. Not all Black teens participate (vast majority do not), and media often downplays demographics. Crime and behavioral stats show group differences in juvenile offending rates (FBI/UCR), but individual behavior varies widely. Socioeconomic factors, single-parent households (~70%+ for Black children nationally), culture, and policy (e.g., reduced enforcement) are relevant explanations discussed in criminology.

Only chance they face charges is if we can get them to identify as conservatives.
