How can anyone possibly defend a statement like that? He is essentially threatening to take his basketball and go home if the others don't agree that he just got fouled.
I'll just be glad when the cocksucker is no longer in government and we only have to listen to him in the media occasionally. Much like MTG

I don’t know why people still deny the cause of the civil war is the South’s desire to preserve slavery as an institution. Every declaration of succession spells it out clearly for everyone to see. They were very much unabashed in their views on white supremacy and slavery.
It’s true the Union’s goal was more about preservation than strictly about ending slavery, but Lincoln long wanted slavery abolished and the south gave him the opportunity to finally end that scourge.

Because every other nation on this planet solved the issue without a war
So, there had to be another reason. Oh, thats right, States wanted to leave the union
quote:
As far back as 1856, Mr. Lincoln had told a Republican convention in Illinois: “We say to the southern disunionists, we won’t go out of the Union, and you shan’t.”
So what ignited the actual war part?
1) John Browns raid - Resulted in him being the first person executed for treason. Treason? Over slaves? Nope
quote:
In October 1859, Brown led a raid on a federal armory, intending to start a slave liberation movement that would spread. He had prepared a Provisional Constitution for the revised United States that he hoped to bring about. Brown was tried for treason against the Commonwealth of Virginia,
2) Fort Sumter - Six days after S Carolina seceded from the North, Union soldiers seized the fort (one that had been previously ceded to the Union by S Car)
quote:
The attack on Fort Sumter is generally taken as the beginning of the American Civil War. A Union Army officer acted without orders to seize the fort. S Car and the Confederates demanded its return. The Union began supplying the fort, resulting in the beginning of hostilities
Slavery was not the issue. It was 2 instances of attempts to dissolve the Union by force. The first act was northern, the other southern

They could have helped save the Founders' vision but failed to help in the time of greatest need, theyre weak and soft.

You misspelled impossible without insider info or kickbacks.

Because it is not the truth.

Heaven help us all. A just war to preserve the union and to end the evil of slavery. And the north didn't start the war.

Trump: Take the guns first, due process second.
MAGA: We love Trump. He's America First!
Did this actually happen? No, it didn't.

Massie: Constitutional carry and let's not turn vehicles into surveillance devices.
MAGA: Massie can't keep getting away with this. He must be stopped!
Did Massie stop killswitches? No, he didn't.
You've just proved what we knew all along. Massie supporters care more about words than actual results. It's a womanly perspective on life.

This. All it takes is some light reading.

Kentucky may be the most based, reasonable Commonwealth in the nation. I might consider relocating there
More proof that Democrats support Massie.

I'm a pro-Trump and pro-conservative as just about anyone on this board. All of my family fought for the south. Saying that slavery wasn't the biggest reason for the civil war is just silliness.
