No, but he gave them inside information for their reporting.

Has anyone yet been able (even in the most general sense) to tie any of the money paid to these "snitches" to actual information that was disseminated by the SPLC?

Google their annual funding SPLC

This isn’t rocket science

You just want to deny the truth

So they exposed a guy posting on an internet forum?

And they needed to pay him for that?

You really are a strange one sticking up for people paying white supremacists.

The indictment states the article was posted during the time period of this snitching

I'm not an SPLC donor. Not a fan of the organization, really.

So they paid him to snitch, then used the information he gave them to expose both him and his organization.

I don't think the SPLC donors will consider this to be fraud.

Do you ever feel like taking a fricking break?

But what did that article expose? That people are racist?

You are making it out like they made some huge discovery.

Isn't that the point of the SPLC? To expose racist groups?

Again, do we think their donors would consider this to be fraudulent use of the donations?

I can’t wait to see the rockstars that DOJ rolls out to argue this joke of a case, it’s going to fit perfectly next to the rest of their failed prosecutions thus far

The article had the net effect of taking dying embers an fanning them

The organizations were all basically dead with less than 24 members nationwide

SPLC basically regenerated these organizations by funding them and making them known

What a joke

Don’t these organizations expose themselves on purpose? I would think the SPLC’s “goal” if there is any, would be to report illegal activity to the government to end these orgs. Reporting on them being racist seems silly.

Be interesting to know what sort of information is actually contained there. The blurb makes it seem like little more than a generalized biological piece on this individual alone.

Some do, many are still in the shadows. We were talking about just that in the Nick Fuentes thread yesterday with the growing population of young men drifting in that direction.

Well there was a "partnership" with the FBI and SPLC to do this that was terminated in October 2025. We don't know what state cooperation they had, also.

I imagine as this story unfolds and we get their side of the story that will become more clear.

Exactly. SFP is acting like this guy was feeding SPLC information that was actually useful in helping to combat these group. If that was the case, where is that information? Is it the section of the SPLC website that says this guy is a racist? Is that the information SFP alleges this guy gave up on the group? That’s like paying a McDonald’s worker $70,000 to expose the fact they sell Big Macs.

But why do they have to pay the racist guy to expose racist groups?

And I think it would depend on the donor. Some of them would want to fake hate crimes as long as it makes their side look good.

Let's do Patriot Front. That guy has been on podcasts. Why would you need to slpc to pay them when they just tell you what they are?

Are you capable of even basic abstract thought? Do you think any of the $70k they gave this guy was used to further promote racist ideologies?
