The signs in Tiger Stadium yesterday were so Orwellian and creepy

Right out of 1984. They almost looked like something out of a dystopian film or video game, not sure if anyone else noticed them in the breezeways but it was so bad. Should’ve just said “BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU, WEAR YOUR MASK”. It’s so fricking creepy how hard universities, Hollywood, the MSM, are pushing the horseshite lie that Covid “is still going strong”.
I’m a people person and I very much miss being able to share a laugh with the person checking me out at the grocery store or striking up conversation with someone and actually being able to understand what the frick they’re saying. Praying this all childish boogeyman shite ends in 10 days

Yeah I’ll admit that having the big speakers blasting all the orders repeatedly outside the stadium was eery feeling.

frick LSU football, along with 90% of other colleges, and every NFL team.

Glad I didn’t go or watch.
Feels good.

Odd, I didn’t even think to turn the game on. Done.

I completely agree, but I’m not going to pass up spending time with my family that I wouldn’t see otherwise and getting out of the house without a mask. I’d argue that leftists want to keep people isolated in their homes just as much as they want to push Marxist BLM shite through sports, so pick your poison

It was a home game? Honestly thought it was away. Zero indication around town. Usually notice store checkouts, people shopping, etc, wearing football garb for either team on home game weekends, half the time for away games too. No purple/gold, or blue/gold noticed anywhere.

Didn’t care, just flipped them off every time. The only moment I wore a mask yesterday was when they scanned my ticket. Immediately took it off after and never put it back on.
Covid games are such low-stress. No traffic, show up right before kickoff, no issues finding free parking, cheap tickets, and I can sit wherever I want.
FYI, the SWAC isn’t playing until the Spring, hence the lack of blue & gold.

It’s the societal moment that Karen has been waiting for--a license to lecture, moralize and wag that nanny finger at you with the “ law “ on her side. These people have waited their entire lives for this moment. The girl that used to raised her hand maniacally in class and tattle tale on her classmates to the teacher is now running American culture and she is now projecting every fear and anxiety she has ever had, onto anybody she chooses with total impunity.
We have now been completely OPRAHFIED.

“Wear your mask! We’re all in this together!”
“Don’t forget:
No tailgating, no outside food/beverage, no blah blah blah
We’re in this together”
“Mask Up, Louisiana!”
“If you see someone violating social distancing orders call xxx-xxx-xxxx”

Your prayer will not be answered.
Where in history have authoritarians ever given up newfound/codified power voluntarily? It’s going to get worse, not better. The edicts may not have “COVID” in the name, but their roots will trace back to March/April 2020.
And it’s not like this should be a surprise to anyone. There were plenty of people that didn’t buy into the C-19 hysteria that warned that exactly what has happened was going to happen.

The mask mandates were always little more than another method to foment resentment, judgement, and conflict amongst the populace.
Sure they can be preventive if proper masks are used absolutely properly. BUT, if it were able to be truly analyzed the data would show a mostly insignificant difference between mask vs no mask in vivo. Additionally, I would not be surprised to see instances where masks (as used by most people) cause a slight increase in cases.

“MASKS REQUIRED
Face masks covering the nose and mouth are required on LSU’s campus and in all athletic venues”
“BE RESPECTFUL
Cover your coughs and sneezes”
Accompanied by extremely creepy little illustrated graphics of people wearing masks and covering their mouths while coughing. I mean it literally looked like the illustrations of 1984 Big Brother posters.
Just constant reminders that Sars-Novel-Killer-COVID-19 is out there and will most certainly kill you if you don’t sit in your isolated seats without your filthy disease covered terrycloth emotion suppressor aka mask.

It’s scary to think we the people have given up our freedoms in exchange for wearing a piece of cloth over our face.
The cloth does nothing.
The cloth does nothing.

I'm still shocked how many are complying around BR.
The only way this ends is if we stop following these ridiculous mandates.
