I see other countries not funding our inflation by their rate of NOT buying treasuries on par with our printing. The data shows this. It's going down percentage wise.
Foreign demand has not collapsed, but it has changed composition.
Some examples of trends economists track:
1. China has reduced Treasury holdings over the last decade.
2. Japan remains one of the largest holders.
3. Private investors and U.S. funds now buy a larger share.
4. U.S. money market funds have recently become huge buyers of Treasury bills.
So the system has adapted rather than broken down.
The main drivers of inflation historically are money supply expansion, large fiscal deficits, supply shocks and interest rate policy.
Foreign Treasury purchases influence these factors, but they are not the primary determinant of inflation.
Actually, probably a better response from td01241 than mine.

This board is essentially just anti-American fanfiction now.
Anyone who gets news and opinions from Tucker, Candace, Tim Pool, Fuentes, and the other groypers should have their opinions roundly mocked and be excommunicated from the party.

I'm out. I have no place here. TD Money Board is the only place worth cruising on this site really. OT at times. I know I won't be missed by you jackoffs. Also, go frick yourselves
I guess our lives will be changed forever by this decision. How will we sleep at nights? Especially with that deeply cutting, mic drop last profanity laced insult hurled at us.
Anybody know a good therapist?

More and more countries will start developing nuclear.
Like nuclear power plants?
Nuclear energy programs?
Nuclear reactors?
Nuclear medicine programs (radiotherapy, PET imaging)?
Nuclear research reactors for universities?
Nuclear submarines (naval propulsion reactors)?
Nuclear icebreakers (Russia operates several)?
Nuclear space propulsion systems (NASA is studying nuclear thermal rockets)?
Nuclear fusion experiments!
Nuclear fuel-cycle facilities (enrichment or reprocessing plants)?
Nuclear waste repositories?
Nuclear desalination plants powered by reactors?
Nuclear industrial isotope production facilities?
Good for these other countries. Hopefully Somalia can get in on the action and become part of the 21st century.

Foreign Central Banks hold more gold than U.S. Treasuries
there are several possible scenarios for this, none of which signal imminent Doom.
1. the whole world is moving towards a more digital monetization
2. times are uncertain for everyone, not the just us, and gold is the store of value
3. other countries believe that the US will do what they say now, and holding a bunch of our debt won't save them (see China)
there are others, these were just the ones that popped to the top of my head in about 2 seconds

The European propaganda is strong in American academia. Reality is that we are separating from old friendly leeches. Europe is dying a slow painful death highlighted by the lack of innovation. France for example has a population 20% of the US but only produce1.5% as many patent grants.
