This was always the plan. The reconciliation's purpose was to pass bills we couldn't pass with 60 votes. Conservatives are just too emotional to listen to reason. Look at how many times they have had a breakdown over Trump only to be proven wrong in 24-48 hrs.
Yet, they never learn.
Anyone who still supports Massie after he voted against the recission package should never be taken seriously again. It just shows they are easily manipulated.

Option 1:
They didn't initially cut so Dems can say the deficit will increase by trillions.
MAGA says Republicans are spineless.
Option 2:
They cut but make enemies and burn bridges against people who had resistance the first time but went along with concessions.
Dems can now say Reps pulled bait and switch on bipartisan bill.
It's better to go one decisive option then to give people more ammo and narratives.

You just don't understand. Trump is a dealmaker, a businessperson, and has the force of will to get Congress in line. He has a mandate, and he can get Congress inline within 24 hours.

It’s impossible to bring up recessions until after the BBB.
