Everybody claims they're going to cut taxes for everyone, and reduce the debt. And not cut the military

Are you currently wealthy? I'm middle of the road and I was doing the best I've ever done under trump. I bought a 300k house in 2019, refinanced when the interest rate dropped. My house payment with property taxes and it's inflated value would only be about 60% of the cost to buy that same house with today's interest rate . It would be a 4k monthly note.

The only way this could happen is if you lived in a deep blue state and were capped at how much local and state taxes you could write off
Why should us red state tax payers subsidize your high local property taxes and state taxes….

Cutting handouts wouldn’t do much. May actually hurt.
50% of our income tax revenue goes to interest payments to debt. We could cut spending to 0 tomorrow and still only keep 50% of revenue.
The only way out of this without sending our economy to 1826 would be to inflate the debt away and replace high interest debt with lower interest debt.
This is actually Trumps plan. It could work. I just think it’s funny people think he is the “cut spending and return to gold standard RON PAUL” candidate. He isn’t.

The United States’ welfare budget totaled $1.101 trillion in fiscal year 2023, or 18% of all federal outlays. Eight different federal agencies run welfare.
That doesn't include Social Security disability

Government policy in recent decades has lifted many out of poverty and provided large tax cuts to the rich. The middle class has lost out. Tax cuts dressed up as help for the middle class should be labelled for what they are: welfare for the wealthy.

Right. Cutting it 5% won’t suddenly save the economy.
Interest payments are almost 1 trillion a year and growing.

Correct. The top 50% of earners pay 97.7% of the Federal income tax burden.

Extending the 2017 tax cuts that expire next year will cost roughly $5 trillion over 10 years, but, even with that hefty price tag, making the law permanent will still leave millions of U.S. households with bigger tax bills.
That’s according to a new analysis from the Tax Policy Center, which estimated that extending the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act would leave 13% of middle-income households with higher taxes than they would have if provisions expire as scheduled.
That’s because the 2017 tax-code revamp doubled the child tax credit to $2,000 and increased the standard deduction but eliminated or reduced personal exemptions and several other deductions that many middle-class households had relied on.
The analysis shows that the vast majority of the $5 trillion in tax cuts would go to households earning more than $450,000 and shift the overall burden of funding the U.S. government to middle- and lower-income Americans.

That's low income bud. They get other benefits that the true middle class doesn't get to compensate...factor that shite in.

So even if this IS true, which I doubt, that’s all that matters? frick everything else right? Your money isn’t going to be worth shite if our nation gets screwed with all the other stuff Kamala would do, including hyper-inflation. That’s a damned tax too ya know!

Yeah. frick your numbers.
The budget for the National Endowment for the arts over the next 10 years is $2 trillion (at a static rate).
That should be billions.

I noticed you failed to cite that change to tax law that led to an increase in the amount of taxes you paid.
Until you explain this, it’s easy to see you are full of shite.
