when the court of public opinion was more appalled by mark fuhrman's use of the N word than OJ cutting two people's heads off

and when the jury foreman displayed the black power sign as the verdict was read

That OJ 30 for 30 with the juror who flat out said they were never going to convict OJ no matter what

It was shocking but also Not really shocking I guess

That was their revenge for the Rodney king deal

That's giving entirely too much credit. The OJ trial was a mirror held to race relations in this country. The fact that some people justified the brutal murder of others on the grounds of perceived racism scared the shite out of people who don't take responsibility for their own protection and security, or live in a city or state that doesn't allow you to protect yourself and your loved ones.

If California wasn't such a leftist shithole, and one or both Ron Coleman and Nicole Simpson had armed themselves to protect themselves and their families, then OJ may have been the one who assumed room temperature that day.

I don't know if there would have been a conviction if Mark Fuhrman had simply admitted to using the N word, but lying under oath really hurt his credibility with the jury.

That said, OJ had some very sharp attorneys who might very well have gotten him off any way. ("If the glove doesn't fit . . .")

At least the Goldmans won the civil case.

The attorneys had an easy job. They knew the jury was a bunch of morons. So, make something rhyme and they'll wake up.

That was not brilliance on the part of OJ's attorneys, it was idiocy on the part of the prosecution. The defense was never going to ask OJ to put the glove on, in case it slid right on. The prosecution wasn't smart enough to realize that leather draws up after being soaked, wrinkled and then dried. Nor were they smart enough to realize that allowing OJ to put on the rubber glove assured that he would never be able to put it on. Nor were they smart enough to go out and find the pictures of OJ in those "ugly arse" Bruno Magli shoes that OJ said he never owned or wore.

not really, he was just the george floyd of his time

guilty as shite with no denying it, yet he was used as the symbol of blacks getting over on whitey

it was shite that was already cooking, they were a fake narrative cause in search of an excuse to use to get the party started.

OJ was just a gift to them because he had star status

And black people celebrated because black men were finally allowed to murder white women and get away with it.

It was hard to not follow the trial, but I forgot or never knew there was a conspiracy that OJ's son was the real killer, for whatever reason.

Am I just really really late on this one?

The trial didn't actually do anything.

Anyone paying attention already knew that on the whole, the black population was a racist poison to the United States.

The trial was just a vehicle for those who weren't paying attention to see it manifest itself.

While I don't disagree... White Liberals are the biggest poison pill to this country.

Certainly.

But, they pretty much exist in their current form because Lincoln didn't follow thru with his original plan.

The reality is, had he just sent them all back, the nation would be 100x better today.

Letting this pile of crap escape solidified our societal demise.

I knew when it happened and I was a dimocrap back then.

You sir must have never witnessed the natives in their natural habitat before the trial.

Funny thing is OJ never ever wanted anything to do with the black community
