Anyone who makes a mathematical error, especially one like this, on national TV is subject to mockery. It has nothing to do with race.
But as usual, with liberals, everything is about race.

Everyone I heard went out of their way to mock white dude Brian Williams and intentionally leave the two minority women out of it

If trump were to say something like this they would have said he lied
Posted on 3/12/20 at 9:46 am to Cs
So pointing out the fact you and Brian Williams are stupid is racist?

Four stars. Let me guess: kunt
Or maybe it’s the other word and she’s just missing some asterisks. She isn’t good with math, we know.

"I am a black woman. A Woman of Color. People are not allowed to hold me to any standard, whatsoever".

degree matters
if she had said "$1,000" then it wouldn't be a big deal. only true assholes, trolls, and attention seekers would bring it up
however, she was off by more than 1,000x
*ETA: AND, the ENTIRE POINT of the segment was talking about the absurd amount of Bloomberg's spending. scale is VERY VERY frickING IMPORTANT in that "reporting". if you're trying to preach absurdity, you can't be 1000x+ off. then you are absurd.

Underrated comment here. That was a simple but excellent way of putting it

Technically, I think she was off by over 500,000x

How does either of them know you trust or care about them if you're not brutally honest and exacting?

I love thin skinned and insecure people. They are always good for a laugh or two

You would have been called a dumb fricking bitch making that kind of error on national TV regardless of skin color. Don't double down on dumbfrickery.

So when I make a mistake at work I just need to find a way to blame it on someone or something else.

Twitter mob over a gaffe
this wasn’t a gaffe. They didn’t misspeak during a long winded conversation. They built a tv segment based on bad math that NO ONE on their set, the producers, the director, the camera guy, NONE were able to look at it and realize it was wrong.
For me, it isn't even about a "math error". It was a conceptual error. They wanted to believe the concept that Bloomberg is so rich that he can give every person in the US $1,000,000 and not even miss it.
They really believe (or want you to believe) that the rich really are that rich. Heck, Gates has 2x more than Bloomberg (I thought it would be higher, Bloomberg is rich!), so I guess we can tax these two 1%'s and give every person $3,000,000, right (that's Three Million Dollars for people who have trouble with zeroes and commas and decimal points)? Everyone is rich, everyone is happy, and Bill and Mike won't even miss it. Problem solved if only we tax a few rich guys. Bernie, are you listening?
It's the conceptual error that makes this a big deal, not the "math error"!
