Quadrupling fees will just tack on the cost to the customer. Mamdani talks a good game about making NYC more affordable, but in reality this idiot just raised the cost for just about everything in that city. His voters are about to take a mandatory class in basic economics.

I know someone who drives a reefer 18 wheeler that often brings loads destined for NYC. He says the company he works for has a drop yard in NJ that they drop their trailers at and the company has a team of dedicated NYC drivers that bring the loads the final miles into NYC. He says these dedicated NYC drivers know the city, know where to go and where not to go, know the best routes to take, etc.

This is one method he will use to bring state-run stores. He will further drive up prices in private businesses by making their items more expensive, and give discounts to those who sell in government shops. The money he makes from one will pay for the other.

Pretty soon, NYC will need humanitarian aid truck convoys from some global 'charitable' organization.

The unions have been very quiet about mandami. Socialism in the best breaker of unions oddly.

Using Chief Justice Roberts thought process, this would be an illegal tax on consumers. This is no different than imposing a tarriff by the mayor of a city.

Now I understand how the grocery stores will be free.
