You lefties sure do love killing babies and the elderly.
How did you people develop such a deep blood lust?

Who are you talking to? More voices in heads?

Perhaps you haven't seen someone in hospice before in the US. It is not uncommon(around here anyway) for the patient to be prescribed morphine and ativan very 2 hours on an alternating basis. Do you know what that does? To say a form of euthanasia doesn't happen here isn't entirely true.
It is usually on terminal patients or those pretty close to the end but it happens.

I’m prescriped klonopin and Percocet myself for back injuries sustained in Iraq and Panic disorder so yes I’m familiar with the effects of opioids and benzodiazepines
No government should ever kill its people. They don’t have the right to do it and it’s disgusting. Comparing palliative hospice care with a lethal injection is disingenuous and shows your hand

They are Canadians, wouldn't you want to kill yourself too.

You brought up hospice care...I pointed out how it works here...that is all.
Comparing it to lethal injection is your apples to oranges comparison...not mine.
There is no hand to show.

I brought up how Canada is encouraging patients who want to opt for hospice into suicide because their system is overwhelmed due to their insane amount of foreign globalist nomads they bring in and you decided to come out say our hospice care in America is the same as encouraging ending your own life in Canada.

I'm all for euthanasia to be legal, but make it a private practice.
There is absolutely no reason we can put old dogs, down but we can't put elderly people down. It makes zero sense.

I don’t believe it should be legal to end any human life as they all have value, but if it’s going to be then yes it needs to be a private thing.
The government has no business doing this

There’s a strong moral argument to overthrow their government.
Sure, topple a democratic government for allowing people to do something.

In March of 2027, just mental illness will be enough qualification for government euthanasia.
So Canada is basically a year away from killing people with mental health issues? That seems over the top to me.
I mean, how can a mentally unstable individual make a rational decision?
A permanent solution to a problem that that may be temporary seems…insane.
Who is the Minister of Health?

Good one. Canada is an authoritarian state just slightly better than the UK

No they don't. Elderly people in nursing homes with debilitating diseases or can't wipe their own arse would love the option of ending it all.

Who honestly knows. Its possible or even likely they are and did.
With what we already know about how much Maduro and Venezuela was interfering in our elections but also many all around the world its hard to be confident in any outcome for western countries. There is still much to be uncovered about this. I wouldnt be shocked if this was trumps actual primary motivation for snatching him, the resources of course a nice bonus

You want to know something ironic?
Canada hasn't had a Death Penalty since 1976 and the last execution (for a crime) was carried out in 1962.
Why? "Canada abolished the death penalty due to its incompatibility with human rights, the risk of executing innocent people, and lack of evidence as a deterrent. The perspective that capital punishment is cruel, inhumane, and violates the right to life."
Right to life... but "Abortion in Canada is a legal, safe, and publicly funded medical procedure available throughout pregnancy, with no federal criminal law restricting it."
They find it cruel to kill murderers, but have no compunction about killing the vulnerable at any stage of life.

But then they let Trump win in 2024. They had control of the machines but let him win.
