Don't hold your breath. Skyscreamers are the way they are because they refuse to accept reality as it is, they still run on the juvenile belief that everyone really wants to just get along and all of these conflicts could be resolved with talks and hugs.

The reality is that there are many in the world whose view of a "perfect society" is the removal of all who don't look and/or believe they exact same way they do. They can't be "loved" into abandoning their desire for domination (whether through violence or other), they can only be fought. When those people dress their desires up in the trappings of religion, it becomes a "holy cause" which cannot be dissuaded.

There are about 2 billion Muslims in the world today. Radical Islam is easily on the level of Nazi Germany with its demand of totalitarian devotion and eager willingness to engage in extreme violence to achieve even low-level goals. Estimates put the radical population at ~1%, or 20,000,000 people and they are spread out all over the world but can easily be connected via the interwebz. You don't contain (much less defeat) that without getting your hands dirty with violence.
