The Left isn’t ashamed of being hypocritical, they are proud of it

There was a guest on a tv program last night who made this point and it’s one I had never considered.
I assumed like most people, if they were shown to be hypocrites, they’d at least try and explain it away or rationalize it. But I think he has a point.
For the Left , they know they are being hypocrites, know that you know it, but don’t care. Not only don’t they care, they use their hypocrisy as a way of proving they are so superior to you, the rules don’t apply and they won’t be held accountable for their hypocrisy.
Plus, they take joy in knowing that their hypocrisy and their ability to get away with it when we can’t, is a source of frustration to us.
Thoughts?

They know that it f*cks with conservatives, I don't think they actually care about winning over conservatives, so why care? They know their logic is pathetic when actually put to the challenge.
Their main mission is to brainwash fresh minds that haven't practiced any critical thinking. And they have the influence and power to that through MSM, Hollywood, sports, school, and big tech

They have little ways of convincing themselves that they're always right, no matter what they say. For instance re-writing the dictionary. I think they're literally doing that, and for some reason are able to do it. So that makes things a bit easier for them....declaring the ability and the right to define words as they see fit.

They are largely the nerds, misfits and losers in HS joined by the now popular kids who want to pretend they “stand with” these misfits because it make THEM feel better about them selves (I.e more virtuous...which they love to signal). Thus, their underlying desire is to do anything to piss off the successful/popular kids out of deep seeded and silent jealousy. If taking a hypocritical position is the way to do it, so be it. The ends ALWAYS justify the means. And when you have no actual sense of self-worth (just a feigned, superficial sense) it does not bother you to be hypocritical because you have no deep rooted values to live up to.

I haven't facebooked in over a decade, but my wife shows me what her prog friends on facebook throw out.
Jan 7th her feed was littered with people trying to explain why the BLM riots were good but the Capitol riots were bad.
I do think they feel the need to try and negate their hypocrisy, I just think they're so wrapped up in their cause being right they'll accept really shitty reasons as to why their own rules don't apply to them.

They justify their hypocritical actions as being necessary to defeat extremism/hate/inequity/etc. People don’t seem to care about a rigged election as long as it was needed to defeat a tyrannical Nazi. People don’t mind Big Tech censoring voices of hate mongers who have nothing positive to say. Using racial preference is alright when it’s used to defeat racism.
The trick is having a complicit media to get the underlying narratives out there and in the minds of the people.
