That isn't the Nitrogen they are talking about.

ETA: I just read the article, they are talking about nitrous oxide and ammonia emissions in terms of climate change. Good Lord this seems dumb.

Im going to the farm this weekend. I know its hot as hell but I think Ill burn a few tires to do my part for climate change.

Ill also eat some steaks, drink some beer and whiskey. Maybe one of those will open another hole in the ozone layer.

The farmers have apparently set numerous hay bales on fire, dumped manure on roads and sprayed liquid manure on government buildings.

Thats a good start but the tar and feathers needs to come out soon.

When they have food shortages, I 'm not giving them anything. They voluntarily decided to starve

Why is this relevant?

I have not read the article but I'm pretty sure they are talking about nitrogen runoff from fertilizers.

These farms are livestock farms not crops.

They are talking about nitrogen and ammonia emissions from livestock.

so very reflective of the US then.

Pretty much. Though in Europe, the "Christian Democrats" are more like old style Democrats in the US (their Socialists actually run as Socialists) but have little Christian anything in their platform.

Signals a change in power to a more right-of-center coalition (remember, unlike the US, European Parliaments have multiple parties and end up having to form coalitions to govern).

Seems to be the kind of case where the politician BECOMES the food supply.

It looks more like a preview of the future of intensive animal farming globally, if intensive animal farming has a future at all.

It most certainly does.

And it won't be in prog run countries, leaving them dependent on those that they don't agree with.

Not the smart move.

There are other ways to farm by avoiding nitrogen fertilizer inputs altogether. Do some research on regenerative agriculture practices. Being done around the globe right now with much success. Could be one way to avoid government overreach.

Or you could take from them the authoritarian power that they use as a weapon against the citizens of their own country. Of course, they probably don't have a Second Amendment, so the best that can hope for is a little lubrication after they grab their ankles.

Ok, so now it’s nitrogen.

Is there any air that is considered good?

They just need to turn their land into cricket and meal worm farms.

Problem solved.
