Should Obiden resign, Harris is 47th potus automatically. Even if she resigns also, speaker Johnson is president.
btw, Harris has to nominate a VP candidate vacancy to congress. No way GOP house puts in a dim.
The 3 dim factions: Obama, Hillary & Newscum have to fight it out, and figure out how to avoid all this.

Historically, the precedent is that the party gets a member of their own party but their choices are limited.
The Speaker in Watergate told Nixon he was getting Ford and didn’t have a choice in the matter.
