The Democrats Have Radicalized My Wife

My wife has been fairly apolitical for most of her adult life. She's normally the type that would ask me who I was voting for and why, and after hearing me out say OK and pull the lever. She's a suburban, college educated housewife; you know, the type that the MSM tells us that despises Trump.

She disliked Hillary and happily voted Trump, but overall, politics just weren't important to her.

However, recently she saw just the lengths the left would go to:

-Fruitless Russia impeachment
-Lawlessness in the streets during "mostly peaceful protests"
-Authoritarian responses to COVID
-Coordinated media blackout of anything damaging to the left, coverup of Biden's Ukraine and China dealings especially

One of the turning points was when she posted a funny right-leaning meme on Facebook, and it was censored. She couldn't believe it. Recently, she was outraged that women's organizations have had to walk back congratulatory statements on the confirmation of ACB to SCOTUS due to pressure from the groups who supposedly espouse women's rights.

She's been very cautious about posting so openly about supporting Trump on social media because she's seen the result of cancel culture and has no intent of becoming its next victim.

Instead, she's been doing all she can to work her moderate friends to vote Trump via alternative means. She scours discussions on Facebook for any of her friends that are fence sitters and then privately engages them in text or on the phone and has been slowly convincing them to get out and vote Trump. For any of her friends that are outward Trump supporters, she's been making sure they're registered to vote and will get out and go vote. She of course reminds them to seek out the JBE recall petition as well.

She sees a threat to her children's future. She sees a threat of violence from the left. She sees the push for the breakdown of the family structure from the left. She sees a future that she does not want. The Democrats have taken someone that had low interest in politics and molded them into a political activist.

I hope she's not the only one out there, and I sincerely doubt she is.



TLDR: The Democrats have radicalized my wife, but not how they intended.
