WASHINGTON — The Democratic National Committee is getting smoked by its GOP counterpart in fundraising — and some major Democrats are panicked it could hurt their chances at defeating President Trump next year.
The DNC brought in just $22.9 million over the last three months including $9.5 million in June, according to a campaign finance report filed Saturday night with the Federal Election Commission. That’s less than half the Republican National Committee’s haul over the same time period: $51 million.
The DNC had just $9.3 million in the bank at the end of June, less than a quarter the $44 million RNC had — and that doesn’t even factor in the DNC’s $5.7 million in debt. The RNC and President Trump’s campaign had a combined $100 million in the bank.
The huge cash disparity puts Democrats behind the eight-ball in the time-and money-consuming process of building out strong voter contact programs in the states that will determine whether Trump gets reelected.
“They need to get their shite together. Now,” said Adam Parkhomenko, a Hillary Clinton campaign alumna who served as the DNC’s national field director for the final few months of the 2016 campaign.
“When Hillary became the nominee in 2016 she was handed nothing, the DNC was nothing and there was nothing to build on,” he said. “You’d think we would have spent the last few years making sure this would never happen again, and it has.”
Trump’s campaign and the RNC are already using their massive cash advantage to sow the ground for next year’s election, spending more than $60 million this year alone on digital operations including $10 million on ads and building out a ground game infrastructure that takes months if not years to develop.
Democrats can’t keep up.

Not to take a shite in the punchbowl but the Democrats ALWAYS GET CRUSHED IN LEGAL FUNDRAISING
It is the illegal fundraising through the back channels that is the source of their money that they use to perform absentee ballot harvesting voter fraud.
If the DNC is on record to have raised more than the GOP, then we are completely fricked.....the game is over before it begins in this case

The problem is the big money investors are waiting to see who gets the nod
I think if it’s Biden you see a bunch of money flow in from the classic big money Democrats who funded Hillary, Bill, Obama
But if it’s Harris or Sanders pushing their free school, health care, and other cost-free privileges, I imagine they’d be more hesitant to invest because they have money in those sectors as well and don’t want to see them go away

Your statement is correct.....with the caveat that we will not see the REAL money going to the DNC as most of it is illegal donations that are not being reported as per campaign finance laws

They need not panick! They have no chance whatsoever. The economy is good and he is the only politician in the country who actually is serious about keeping his promise.
Maybe that is why nobody wants to invest too much on them. Take it to the bank....Trump will be there until 2024.

$51 million.
That's not counting Russia's money. Add that firepower and Rs are sitting on at least $51,001,000 in funding.

Ona similar vein, WITH THE 2016 POTUS election being the glorious outlier, polling always requires that the GOP guy assume that he/she is 5 points less than what their own internal polls show.....in order to offset the illegal ballots that will roll in after election day.....
We won't have a "lazy HRH" type candidate anymore who will stop campaigning the month before the election

I truly wished this was true. I am not being doom and gloom but realistic.
The election with be hanging by a thread. I will take a 270-268 result for the good guys with a 5 million vote popular loss in a heartbeat
It is going to be damn stressful come next year.

Wonder if they will count the hundreds of millions dollars of “free” help Google gives them

Lots of big money is waiting to see who gets the bob because as much as they want to help drive the liberal agenda, a wealth tax on the upper 5% makes all of the very squeamish.
How much money would it cost them to willingly push for a wealth tax plus the potential for a economic slowdown? That is why the major donors aren’t their yet.
Damn if they do, damned if they don’t.
I wouldn’t be shocked to see late money as a token signal so they don’t lose face with the democratic establishment, but not until after the data shows that Trump will most likely win.

If we don't have a solution for the Absentee voter harvesting fraud, then we are in a heap of trouble.
If I am barking about it on a college football board, I am sure the POTUS' team is aware....but can they do anything? I hope they have a plan.

The American people would prefer a strong America to communism and self-loathing?
Who could have guessed?

True, but don't forget 'protection money.' Dems hate corporations. But even oil companies donate to Dems as a sign 'Please eat us last.'
That money will not be coming in to the Dems this year. Corporations don't feel threatened.

So they want to give out all this free shite and are surprised they are getting none back?

Once again, Obama is a ghost yet the DNC still treats him as a god despite doing zero fundraising over the past 8 years
