Complete cave

You caught downvotes, but how is it anything other than a complete cave?

McCarthy has stated over and over that we have to spend less money than last year in order to begin reversing course... yet, here we are, spending more.

Watch how much of this extended debt ceiling money goes towards Ukraine, and you RINOs of the board come back again and tell me how raising the national deficit was "necessary and a good thing".

I'm not even mad though, truly. Some of us knew exactly how this would go down, and tried to explain it to everyone else but it fell on deaf ears.

If you consider this to be a complete cave from republicans, then it’s also a complete cave for democrats.

Neither got exactly what they wanted. But at the same time…neither was ever going to get exactly what they wanted.

The amount increased to 4 Trillion in ability to borrow

Isn't it technically unlimited since they agreed to maintain borrowing levels through a specific date rather than through a specific amount?

This in every way seems to be a reasonable and principled deal, yet the crazies among House Republicans are threatening to scuttle it before the ink dries.

You sayingthat means it is not.

I'm skeptical this does anything to make the nation safer or help Veterans.

It needs to be rejected.

The GOP must sink this deal and demand real cuts from the Biden Regime otherwise they caved. We need actual cuts, not reduction in future spending. They need to remove McCarthy as Speaker and elect a hard no compromise Speaker.

BS, they got screwed. They needed to make real cuts, not crap that can be easily abandoned in the future. This Congress can’t obligate future Congresses.
