Whichever side is best able to convince them that the other is responsible for losing football could sweep the Midwest. It was all fun and games until you took their college football away.

i don't see how Trump can be blamed
maybe if football was played in May, sure. but anything related to spread in August is fully due to state leadership
and, of course, leaders of highly partisan institutions started this. that partisanship is anti-Trump
how can Trump be blamed? or, to be more specific, how dumb do you have to be to blame Trump for no CFB?

This assumes the college presidents’ vote stands.
Even the knob-slobbers at ESPN are calling bullshite on spring football.

The Vox Rule: You will convince someone to change religions before you alter their opinions on:
1) Which college football team they cheer for, &
2) What constitutes great BBQ

Would never work
Maybe if it ended in early spring like march but not a start.

Big ten states have curves that look very similar to western euro nations that have this virus "under control"
when september rolls around and michigan, ohio, etc have daily deaths close to 0, these presidents and ADs will have a tough time explaining why the season is cancelled.

What about who to vote for?
Nah, take the #WalkAway & #BLEXIT movements for example.

Doesn’t even go into Nebraska insisting they are playing in spite of the Big Ten’s decision.

They see South Korea where all contacts were practically locked in and credit cards paused as an example of how it should have been done.

They are dolts.

Can confirm. Raised Anglican, became agnostic/atheist, then converted to Orthodoxy.
I still love my Tide, white sauce on smoked chicken, and pepper/vinegar sauce on pulled pork (frick off with your chopped pork).

I think almost all of the Big Ten states go to Trump now. The NCAA has no idea what ramifications this will have.

Dems killed football. Good luck winning any middle America elections
Iowa, Ohio, Wisconsin... even Pennsylvania and Minnesota.

The only Big Ten states I see them keeping are Illinois, Maryland, and New Jersey.
And they can still frick those up too.

The plan is for a spike of cases across Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and Minnesota when the cooler weather arrives. Early October.
It would be difficult to pull this off if there was a successful football season underway.
This is pure politics.
