of course not.

My wife is bright enough to make a realistic threat assessment. Is yours?

Attempted forced entry needs to be pushed to the property boundary, not the living quarters.

Risking getting shot just for being on someone’s property without permission needs to become a thing again.

How is a homeowner to deduce the age of robbers. How is a homeowner being robbed to figure out that the robbers entering his yard and his porch would not enter his house possibly armed and emboldened by their own acts. They gave a homeowner good reason to believe they were robbers on his property with no thought to any laws. Why must a homeowner prove in seconds they were not going to do more. FAFO I hope he starts a gofundme if they take him to trial.

Well that's the point

If he told a witness in real time why he was doing it an it wasn't out of fear and expressed that he had a good understanding of what they were doing when he shot at them...it's not great

Why would she go to prison?

Are you saying that I can't shoot someone unlawfully on my front porch if I feel a reasonable threat from said unlawful person?

Ok, so what does that mean exactly?

Are you saying that your wife is able to determine whether the robbers that are trespassing on your property have no intent on harming her being a witness to their felony?

Is she a mind reader?

He needs to check with WEF/Davos first. Do they need the black gun owner vote in America to execute their agenda?

Yeah so this isn't how the law works.

Well the law saw it's OK to use lethal force if you are in reasonable fear of your life.

Does this not qualify?

Someone is trespassing on your property in broad daylight, they are entering your premises by coming onto your porch.

They are stealing from you. Do you know their intent? Do you know their intent once they are confronted committing a felony on your property? Do you know if they have a weapon or not?

The answer to all of those is NO, which means that it is reasonable to assume that they are their to harm you.

What if it's your wife home alone and this happens? Would you tell your wife not to shoot these people if they entered your domicile (your front porch?)

The fact is this type of thing has been litigated over and over and the homeowner tends to lose depending on the state.

If you are in your home, behind the door, it's best to stay there unless you want to put yourself in serious risk of being out in a cage.

If someone tries to enter, you blast the hell out of them. I'm not saying that's right but that's typically what the law allows.

Know your laws. Don't end up in prison over an Amazon can opener.

Not surprising. Blue cities have never liked black folks having the ability to protect themselves.

A lot of women bright enough to make a realistic threat assessment have been victims of violent crimes. You're just virtue signaling now.

Are you willing to put your freedom on the line and in the hands of a questionable district attorney or questionable jury in Orleans or Jefferson Parish? Or Harris county?

I mean can someone say, yes, I gunned down the solar panel salesman because I thought it was a ruse and I felt in danger?

It doesn't work like that. A reasonable person doesn't gun someone down that comes onto their driveway, porch or lawn.

If someone tries to unlawfully enter your home you can put 50 holes in them. Just be ready. But you can't assume because they are on your porch, they might try to enter and blast away.

He didn't decide two lives were worth a couple of Amazon boxes. The criminals decided that their lives were only worth a couple of Amazon boxes. This needs to happen everyday all day and maybe people will go back to leaving other people's shite alone.

there's a million places you can have amazon delivered more secure than your front porch if you're that concerned about theft.
also, not that it matters, but i'd be curious what was in the boxes. new rolex for the wife? i might consider at letting them see/hear me rack the shotgun. some new socks and bars of soap? definitely not blasting anyone over that

Why do we follow the media rules where it matters if they are "teens" and why do we not ask how the #### old they actually are. Big difference between thirteen and nineteen but anybody breaking in to your house or stealing your stuff is fair game for a dirt nap in a just world.
