Ah yes. The "sticking your head in the sand" approach. Let's do this for everything and see where we are in 20 years.

It's an airport. You use it to fly to places

Some airports are nicer than others.

Why do we have Zimbabwe art in an American airport? We have zero connection to that country.

It’s an all out culture war. Those who refuse to see it for what it is can be considered complacent and are ok with being replaced.

Seriously, the pearl clutching over a traditional ART exhibition in an airport is why so much of the right has just lost the fricking plot.

Without the right "pearl clutching", then woke/DEI insanity would have become embedded in American culture.

Again, feel free to be a "see something do nothing" type. You are the type of people that give us Biden/Kamala and the entirety of the marxists on the left because YOU are lazy and don't want to have to think about things that are unsettling that may cause you to act. Just sweep it under the rug and i'm sure it will get better.

The better option is to just stay at home. Here in Louisiana there is so much to see and do that I never feel the need to visit other states.

Ah yes the guy who goes to an airport to you know, just get on a plane and go somewhere and not care about "messages" and "OMG IS THAT artwork from AFRICA, WHY!?"

I'm definitely way outside the ordinary.

As opposed to some of you, who apparently will find anything on earth to complain about you dont agree with, probably stop at the artwork to pound some sand because it wasn't made in the USA, get on here to type up an angry post about it and then get laughed at by folks like me.

Thanks for the entertainment, at least. I'll be getting on my flight now without the faux outrage side coming out.

Would there be the same histrionics if the art were Indonesian? Chilean? Egyptian?

Again, keep that head in the sand for everything. Why call out bullshite when you can walk right past it for someone else to step in eventually, right?

Yes, which is my right. I'm sure as shite glad no one had your mindset regarding tranny's, covid, and the woke brigade.

It would be fitting if it wasn't.

My condolences. She will smell like pot soaked hackey sack when she returns.

Ha! Yeah ... she's staying at the downtown Hilton for a national drug enforcement conference with the Transportation Authority Feds.

It's kinda ironic that they chose to bring all these corporate big wigs to Portland for their yearly drug policy conference.

She left the hotel once ... walked a half a block, saw a bunch of wasted homeless druggies on the sidewalk, and turned around and went back. She hasn't left the hotel since.

My second oldest daughter, who is an attorney in Portland with one of the bigger firms, went over to have dinner and drinks with her last night. But she was chauffeured there and told my wife not to venture out at night downtown.

What a shame. Portland used to be a showplace city.

A more legitimate cause than "Black Lives Matter".

Something tells me, however, that the Atlanta airport is not honoring the victims slaughtered during the Gukurahundi massacres.

Hint - 99.999% dont give a crap about artwork or "messages" in airports, thats why its funny. People are there to travel, not get faux outraged by things.

There's a pretty large difference in a dude pretending to be a woman walking into women's bathroom vs. a piece of random artwork in an airport. There's things to get rightly upset about, there's also thing you just look as bad as people on the left who complain abut everything and do nothing about it other than, well, complain...because its silly to begin with in instances like this.

Pretty simple concept

I suggest if these are the things pissing in your cheerios day to day you are likely having to look for things to be outraged about for no real reason.

Come on, it's the point of the matter and you should know that! Whether you ignore it or not, the principle of it all is that it is biased propaganda to patronize the black community. It should be neutral, but you know it's not. And making Sherman out to be hero is disgraceful to people of Southern roots who lost ancestors in the war!

Culture war, my aged friend. The culture war. Something you don't have to deal with, because you aren't young, nor have young kids to worry about growing up in a cesspool that is anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-white, anti-straight, anti-male, anti-liberty. You'll long have shuffled off this mortal coil, while we are still fighting the marxists that you so gleefully ignore.

We complain, we vote, we get involved. Acting doesn't mean resorting in violence. "Acting" take many forms. The most effective detergent is sunlight.

Nah, i have 2 boys. My hopes is that by exposing the leftist ideology for what i really is, then my kids won't have to fight the fight that you wish to ignore. Whether it be the afro pick of justice in Jackson square, African disney world in Atlanta airport, tranny story time in Texas, or updating the vaccine schedule to include covid shots in Louisiana. We all have a duty to call out bullshite when we see it.

We don't like the physical manifestation of marxism in the US, you don't like the freedom of speech to bitch about them on message boards. Think about that.

There's nothing "Culture war" about this. Just a handful of easily triggered dudes on a message board complaining about nothing to feel good about themselves today. People use airports to fly and travel, not to be brainwashed, "educated" and triggered (well at least about artwork, maybe about long delays or losing bags, those are the things to get triggered about in an airport).

Again, you are the same people as on the left who get triggered by everything, complain about it all and do pretty much nothing about it. The next time you have a flight that has to connect through ATL, you'll do it because its probably the cheaper/faster route, probably put another post complaining about dumb sh*t nobody really cares about in an airport and there we are.

Best case you actually do something about it, refuse to fly through ATL, it still always remains busiest airport in the world and we get less stupid threads like these. Win/win, please do that; dont be cheap and pay the extra to avoid all this "Woke" stuff only you guys care about in an...airport

We rarely go through that nightmare airport and, when we do, we are usually rushing to get from one terminal to another and make our connecting flight. All thanks to the inability of all airlines to maintain a schedule. Sounds like we're not missing much in terms of 'wall art.'
