Has anyone considered some, not all, of these influencers/podcasters are being paid by the defense team to introduce reasonable doubt on the whole jury pool?

Wasn't MLK shot in the neck with a .30-06?

Has there ever been conspiracy theories on the caliber?

The projectile is probably more important. Different types for different things. Not all are meant for deep penetration.

My question is - that gun was ancient. What if it fired accurately but didnt perform the way a modern rifle that delivers the same bullet would perform? Has anyone addressed the unique nature of his grandfather's gun? Isn't it possible it had been modified?

Good point. Older rifles can exhibit throat erosion and barrel wear. Combine this with older .30-06 rounds and it could have been a round that shot straight with dissipated energy.

Meanwhile everyone is trying to replicate the shot using newer rifles and newer rounds and failing to do so.

I don’t. Never studied it.

Really? You never knew MLK was shot, from a shorter distance than CK, with the same caliber, and the bullet never exited, yet you claim it could not happen?

Wow. Just. Wow.

Why wouldn’t they? I have no reason to trust the fbi.

Because it would be colossally retarded. You dont think a conspiracy would have thought that out?

Yes, I never looked into the MLK ballistics. Sorry I’m not omniscient.

The murder weapon was manufactured between 1898 and 1918. It was then re-calibered from the German Army caliber to 30.06 so it could shoot US Army rifle ammo.

Is it possible that the age and re-calibration of this weapon caused some measure of wear and tear that would allow this old bolt to leak some propellant gas when fired? This weapon is well over 100 years old when fired.

This hypothesis would explain why a round would not be able to create an exit wound in that situation.

Why would the fbi or anyone plant a .30-06

What?

Why would the FBI have 276 undercover agents at the capitol on Jan 6?

Because they do not work for the American people.

None of that has anything to do with the question

I went 8 pages with these tards about this the other day. A human neck isn't stopping a .30-06. End of discussion. Any of these guys can set up a range and try to prove me wrong. They can't

What type of cartridge did he use, since you know so much about this event?

I've seen hogs shot with no exit wounds from a 30-06.

I happens often enough.

Ammunition degrades over time. I have fired shotgun shells that were old that just went "poof".

This was probably his grandfather's bullets that were old and may have degraded to the point where they lost velocity/energy and did not provide enough energy for pass-through. It is likely that the killer was aiming at CK's forehead - the point of impact was 10-12 inches lower. Degraded ammo will do that.

I don't see the point of ammo choice being a conspiracy issue. It is more likely that he may have been motivated by others if you want to point to a conspiracy .

So because someone isn’t risking their life in prison killing someone to prove you wrong, you’re right? Wow what a retard
