Of course we get to the but we still get sick. You can still get chicken pox, polio, mumps etc with enough viral load. Doesn't mean those vaccines are failures either.

But we suffer a less disastrous illness

Not necessarily, as we do not know what Antibody Dependence Enhancement features these vaccines have and how they will interact with future strains. If the vaccine has an overall detrimental aspect due to the jostling of the body's natural immunity which might wind up being more proficient...all these assumptions are yet to be realized. This is due to the lack of time these vaccines have been available, they are not time tested.

Furthermore, if there are other bad and detrimental effects to the body from these Covid vaccines, those have to be factored in as a risk factor as well.

Finally, certain ages and groups are much less susceptible to issues with Covid so that must be another consideration for taking the vaccine.

The brush you paint with, in this instance, for Covid Vaccines is a bit broad.

That probably explains a lot. I started school in the 60s. In Mississippi. Every year I was dragged to the pediatrician to get my booster shots so I could go to school.

You are 100% better off with the vaccine which is why doctors are still recommending them for the previously infected.

the Delta Variant

I've been looking for a month for something that would test for this and still haven't found it. Can someone send me a link for a Delta test?

What does this mean? How can any immunologic elements jostle immunity?

Yes and how often after the first jab were these taken and the frequency beyond that?

The average infant will have 18 shots in the first 6 months of life for several debilitating diseases.

Your post is a little disingenuous.

Not all experts are recommending vaccine after natural illness.

Covid-19 natural immunity compared to vaccine-induced immunity: The definitive summary:

LINK

quote:

You can still get chicken pox, polio, mumps

Recurrent cases of chicken pox are rare and usually only seen in individuals who had their initial episode before 6 months of age, had a very mild or sub clinical course the first time, or have a weakened immune system.

Measles:” The simple answer is no. Surviving measles is believed to confer permanent immunity, and there is no evidence anyone has ever gotten measles twice, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”

Mumps: Per immunize.org:” People who have had mumps are usually protected for life against another mumps infection. However, second occurrences of mumps do rarely occur.” See chicken pox.

As for polio, per the NIH: The polio vaccine has eradicated polio from the United States. However, one can still get a non-contagious condition called Post-polio syndrome (PPS) 15-40 years after having polio.

None of these rare recurrences are due to being exposed to heavy loads of the virus later in life. They are due to incomplete immunity the first time you were exposed.

Wow, not me. I got a sugar cube in 1st grade to stop polio. And a round pattern of pricks with a needle in 1st grade to stop small pox. I had that scar till age 12.

That was it. No booster shots for the rest of my life.

If the double shot doesn't protect you from "muh Delta", then how is a third dose of the same shot going to protect you from "muh Delta"?

Vax evangelists - explain that one to me?

I get it if they have a reformulated shot, but we're talking about just a third dose of Pfizer (and Moderna, presumably, once it is approved), right?

Nonsensical shite being peddled here.

Because the stupid mRNA “vaccines” bypass important parts of your immune system and tell your body to make antibodies. They wear off over time.

J&J actually stimulates your immune system to make antibodies. Your immune system will remember the genetic data from the virus via T and B cells.

If you want a true vaccine, get J&J.

Same here. I'm 79 and haven't had but one flu shot and one pneumonia shot since I left the military in 1969.

They all - and the virus itself - activate the immune system to create antibodies. There's absolutely no difference.
