Youre wasting time talking to that dude. He's incapable of understanding anything outside of popular or legal framework.

Just look at the posts ITT. Mentions of a "posse" and gunfire and creating a hostile environment in the residence. The law is designed to prevent violence by discouraging that sort of behavior.
If this was allowed, they wouldn’t do it. There are no serious consequences a they know it.

I wonder if Russia has squatter's rights? More than likely you would have to be completely stupid to try that there because getting your arse beaten and dragged out is the likely outcome.
This is just another brick in a wall of liberal well-intended consequences.

Correct. The laws are to protect the squatter. Should never see a court.

You shouldn't have to file for an eviction on a trespasser.

No way I’d tolerate this shite. Throw me in jail.

Because we are governed by pussies who are uber risk averse and want to protect the perpetrator at all costs.

Fins local gang, pay them $2500 to remove the guy

You could probably hire some Eastern European goons to do the job for you, relatively cheap.

The POINT is that this IS the way these things are normally handled throughout the Anglosphere. There is nothing unusual about this instance.

I really trigger some of you people. It would be funny, if your fragility were not just so very sad.

I do not disagree, but it universally how such matters are handled. It is not unique to Georgia or to this LTC. The OP reads like it is some unique miscarriage of justice.
This does not happen all the time. You are full of shite.

Now she should receive finanacial support if she realized a loss, IMO.

I’m taking the doors off and losing them on the way to the painters if it’s my house.
I've had to deal with a situation similar to this once and I've had some friends who have these types of issues.
I find that the easiest method of removal is turning the water off at the water meter. The "squatter" cannot call the city to find out why their water is off since they do not have an account, most people are unaware of even where the water meter to their house is, much less know how to turn it back on or possess the necessary key or wrench to do so, and it's very easy to maintain plausible deniability if you were to end up in court for some reason.
Just a quick TD PSA.

If she quit paying her property taxes the squatter could resume paying them and ultimately own the home or the property can be taken, sold off and claimed by purchaser of taxes.

Probably get it done for a couple cases of beer.
I wouldn't trust the legal system at all. Just make it happen.

So I could do this when you go out of town for a day, or spend the day away from your home, change the locks and make a stupid claim, and you would have to spend months and thousands of dollars to have me kicked out?
