What would you prefer?
A constitutional republic.
The only valid role of government is to protect the freedoms of it's citizens and to handle things like defense, currency, interstate commerce etc.
The constitution is a document of limited government, not limited rights. If it's not specifically listed in the constitution, it's unconstitutional.

Enslaved lol ffs
If a single person demands you give up 70% of the proceeds of your labor it's slavery.
If 51% of the population demands the exact same thing, then it's democracy.
Kind of like when you force me to pay for bullshite wars in the middle east, or the left wants me to pay for their immigrant invasions.
You fricks should have 0 say in my life and you can all piss off.

Yeah, that explains a lot.

At the voting place the B to H ratio ( Boomer to Hijab) was about 30 to 1.
But this was small town Texas….

I asked Brave search below.
average voter turnout election presidential years versus mid-term years?
It replied with this,
Presidential elections consistently see higher voter turnout than midterm elections, with a historical gap of approximately 15 to 20 percentage points.
So I think an average off year election turn out would be between 80-85% of the previous year Presidential turn out. In this case 80-85% of 2024 election year. Yes, a stronger turn out on day 1, for whatever 12pm time is worth.

Full disclosure: I also have a nice bet on Kalshi.
Serious question, are you under 40? I ask because I think these prediction sites are heavily tilted to under middle age people, or toward single with disposable income.

Meh.
Democracy is two wolves and one sheep voting on what's for dinner. A Representative Republic is two wolves and one well armed sheep voting on what's for dinner.

Still a large line today. I stuck it out and voted. Done, finished. Will not pay attention to another poll message or ad.

That is only the implied powers to carry out the written ENUMERATED responsibilities.
AKA, they still need to be listed. It is not a bypass of the entire constitution.

Most voters are dumb and just drown out the educated. Get out of vote programs are just to allow the media to control who gets elected.
MSM loves the extended voting period because it allows them to tell the American people what the MSM feels the American people need to hear.
Baaaaaaaaaa to those who pay attention to ANYTHING the MSM has to say!!
