Sheeiiitt. You’re calling him the DSA candidate?

Yep. I told you already weeks ago there was no way in hell I was voting for Paxton. Talarico is the better choice in that race.

He’s very clearly not a DSA candidate, unless you go by JD Vance’s new interpretation of socialism. So maybe he did vote for a DSA candidate in your world.

What does this even mean? Turnout from what exactly? Total registered voters?

In Texas, you actually select the individual candidates.

For the record, because it seems you are new to this, in Texas in a general election we could ALWAYS select individual candidates. In fact I'd guess that takes place throughout the country. That's how elections work.

What doesn't happen in Texas anymore is straight party line voting with one checkbox. They did away with that.

They will try to justify it by blaming the other candidate, but they will always vote for open borders, redistribution of wealth, destruction of norms, kid friendly drag shows, DEI, and more government:

I don’t live in Texas, so I have no dog in the hunt. Just curious. What are the issues most important to you that compelled you to vote for Talarico?

You do have a dog in the hunt. US senators write federal law.

But to answer your question, I didn't vote on the issues. I hate Paxton with a passion. This was purely an emotional vote and I own it.
