A laboratory leak is now the more likely origin of Covid, MPs have heard, because after two years of searching an animal host has never been found.
Speaking to the Science and Technology Select Committee, Dr Alina Chan, a specialist in gene therapy and cell engineering at MIT and Harvard, said there was also a risk that Covid-19 was an engineered virus.
Dr Chan, said: “I think the lab origin is more likely than not. Right now it’s not safe for people who know about the origin of the pandemic to come forward. But we live in an era where there is so much information being stored that it will eventually come out.
“We have heard from many top virologists that a genetically engineered origin is reasonable and that includes virologists who made modifications to the first Sars virus.
“We know this virus has a unique feature, called the furin cleavage site, and without this feature there is no way this would be causing this pandemic…..

Not only does Sars2 have a furin cleavage site, which has never been seen on any other sarbecovirus, DRASTIC, a loose collective of internet researchers, uncovered a grant proposal from 2018 wherein WIV scientists, along with Ralph Baric of UNC, proposed scouring viruses for FCSs and then inserting them into Sars backbones. To use Chan's recent analogy, we have a unicorn, and we also have a detailed plan for putting horns on horse heads. Yet nobody has been interrogated under oath. No documents have been subpoenaed. The WIV's database of sequences and other data about the viruses they had collected since 2003 that was taken offline in late 2019 remains offline.
Chan wrote a great book recapping all this. It's called Viral. If you're interested, I recommend it. She's currently catching serious heat on Twitter. I'm sure she's made money on the book, but you have to appreciate her bravery. The whole scientific community wants to sweep this under the rug to prevent "politicization" of science and loss of funding.

We may indeed never know the true answer to exact origins of the virus since any inquiry into this matter must first be vetted and approved by China’s State Council before it is released to other scientists in the international community.

I can’t imagine being so brain dead, that only now with this article, after everything we’ve seen and taking chinas behavior of not cooperating with world health officials at the pandemics onset , would you start to think that China had a hand in building this virus

This was the back door means of funding with GOF research banned by the NIH by Obama.

I've never said that the lab leak theory isn't plausible
I'm saying that it's very likely that the lab leak was accidental
There are only 3 options and none of them look good for China
1. Wet markets or wildlife farm
2. Accidental lab release
3. Intentional lab release
I merely stated that bamarep is a moron for thinking this whole thing was conducted by the democrats who were cooperating with China to take out Trump. It takes a lot of stupidity to come to that conclusion without a ton of proof.
