Live one time zone away from LA so I'm just now hearing some details about this dumb law.

I’d rather that than a list of approved pronouns.

They should add an 11th one " Thou Shalt not question the price of Crawfish or Cane's chicken tenders"

What is so dumb about reminding people of principles from a history book. Even the Sumerians had them.

Then make it simple and use the two commandments from the Gospels of the New Testament as your book(s).
Love God
Love your neighbor

Well, clearly "history" was not the author's intention

“I’m not concerned with an atheist. I’m not concerned with a Muslim,” said Louisiana State Rep. Dodie Horton (R), explaining why she sponsored a bill requiring every public school in the state — kindergarten through college — to display the Ten Commandments.
“I’m concerned with our children looking and seeing what God’s law is,” continued the Republican from Bossier Parish in the northwest corner of the state.

I just want to point out some of the commandments are in the LSU code of student conduct.

Hope you take the same position when the Muslims demand their laws be displayed as well.

It's amazing what upsets people and then what doesn't. 10 Commandments? SKY SCREAM Keep children's mental health issues hidden from their parents? Commended.

Is there one single poster on this website who has held those two positions?

And the irony is that these issues will still keep popping up and harming kids.
But now with a 10 Commandments poster in the background.
Good job everyone.

Those are a summary of the Ten Commandments…you can’t know how to love God or your neighbor without the Ten Commandments, because everyone could just make it up for themselves.

It’s required to be in every public school classroom including public colleges.
The bill only specified the size it needed to be & that it needed to be in a large, easily readable font. I expect some tomfoolery with this.

If you feel man is the ultimate entity so be it. I am far more humble. With that being said, I have to believe those "laws" have helped mankind and however they were created, I just cannot imagine a civilization thriving without them.

After all, civilization didn’t have laws before the Ten Commandments and wouldn’t have any laws without them.
