You are laughing at your own ignorance and the sad part is you don’t even realize how ignorant you are. Look I am not particularly the biggest fan of Landry but facts are facts. Jeff Landry is 100% responsible for the Guard being deployed to New Orleans. Trump has no say in this. The Governor is the commander and chief of the Louisiana Air and Army National Guard. He is the only one that can activate them. The only power the President has over the guard is he can federalize them for active duty of which time they would fall directly under the full time Army or Air Force

I agree with this
Little Landry is about the most petty Governor I’ve ever seen. Add his hatred for New Orleans and Moreno has a massive hill to climb to ever have cooperation from the state. Landry has land mines all around and he’s going to make sure that she steps on them.
Moreno is petty in her own right and isn’t about to send any public praise to Landry. She knows how Landry is and yet refuses to feed his ego.
When it all comes down to it, with the tiff the public’s best interest isn’t at the forefront.

Last time I was in NOLA was in May. We did our usual quick trip to the quarter to eat brunch(even though I prefer to stay on the northshore and just go to Liz's). I guess it was too early, but I did not see any NG presence. In DC, you still see NG everywhere, even at the front of grocery stores. Did they leave the quarter to the LSP? I mean, the quarter looked the same as it ever did, just more people smoking weed in public, but not much else had changed. I do admit we rarely go to the quarter at night and if we do, we stay well away from Bourbon.
But as far as the OP, silly little political spats are always stupid. Landy came off looking petty. Who cares if he sent them. Only small men need credit for every little thing.

A very easy way to stop threads from becoming about me is to post about the actual topic instead speculating about my kids, my marriage, my body or my sex life. I didn’t introduce any of those topics and I only responded to a fraction of posts that touched on them. In fact, this very post you made that I’m responding to isn’t at all about the OP.
