Nah can’t do that, Trump has to kiss the wall and do as Israel wants.
Trump is of course better than Kamala but he clearly isn’t being even maga anymore and it’s no where near America first.
No administration is going to be America first though it’s just not going to be allowed with the uniparty system

Illegal immigration – shut down.
Deportations – at record numbers.
Trade deficit – down 54% over the last 12 months compared to the preceding period.
Net exports – up 11.3% over the same period.
Tax and regulatory reform – accomplished. (Takes time to have economic effects)
Now I'm not saying the man is perfect, but he's swimming upstream against goon Thune and a do-nothing Senate. Why don't you give the man a chance?

100% facts.
Tech bros are paying big bucks to attend Mar A Lago fundraising dinners.
Just like they were paying to exert influence with prior admins.

I voted for the man 3 times.
I agree no one is perfect and yes the senate and house are major problems.
I’m just saying he isn’t going to stop the tech companies on this. I don’t recall him ever saying he was going to end the H1B scam, plus he has a personal history of using them.
I get judges and liberal states are holding down the deportation number.
I like Trump but I could do with him not spiking gas prices because Israel is egging us on. I want more focus on the home front less boondoggles in the Middle East. Him hammering H1Bs and the companies that are directly hurting his supporters isn’t likely to happen though

Meanwhile, the Department of Labor launched Project Firewall in late 2025 to specifically target H-1B "fraud and abuse". For the first time, the Secretary of Labor personally certifies investigations where there is "reasonable cause" to believe U.S. workers are being displaced. The DOL has explicitly listed "sudden layoffs of U.S. workers followed by new H-1B hires" as a primary trigger for a site visit or investigation.
Companies found violating these rules face heavy fines, back-pay requirements, and a temporary ban from sponsoring any future H-1B workers. We'll see how this manifests with Oracle, Amazon, etc. So it seems Trump has already provided the DOL with tools for a remedy in cases, such as those the OP cited.
Further, the US citizenship and immigration services division now requires more granular detail on job roles and qualifications making it much harder for a laid-off H-1B worker to switch to a tourist visa (B-1/B-2) to stay and look for work, which was previously a common practice.

As far as the legal challenges, in Chamber of Commerce v. DHS, Judge Beryl Howell actually ruled in favor of the administration, finding that the President has broad authority to impose "any" restrictions on entry deemed detrimental to U.S. interests. She ruled the $100,000 H1B fee is not a standard "user fee" (which only Congress can set) but rather a "condition on entry" and is an accordance with current law.
The Chamber of Commerce asked for and received an expedited appeal. That case was heard last month, and the appeals court decision is expected imminently.

We'll see how all this rings out. But to say, the administration has done, nothing about H1B visas ignores the facts.

According to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services data, Oracle filed for roughly 3,126 petitions to employ H-1B workers in fiscal years 2025 and 2026.
How do they know the exact number?

USCIS does NOT publish simple, company-by-company totals like this in headline reports.
I'm not saying they aren't hiring h1b, the cap is 85,000. I just want to know where the post got the actual numbers from.

Any company using India or H1Bs has a massive massive drop in the quality of work that happens
95% of these people are basically human calculators or able to recite what they read in a book.
Zero creative thought or deductive reasoning.
Chemical, energy, oil companies love them some H1Bs or offshoring straight to India, but the people they hire do not have a clue how a plant operates, systems, maintenance work flows, process troubleshooting, mechanical troubleshooting, planning, etc. So the company engineers, planners, support here have to "help" the help that was hired.
It's like hiring a contractor at your house to install a new roof, but you have to explain to them how it works, its purpose, and how to actually remove and tack shingles. And in the end, you have to fix the flashing that's leaking.

Sadly Trump and Vance aren’t going to end H1B despite it harming all levels of American workers
That's because congress has to end it and you keep voting the same people in over and over again.
The H1B bros need to realize you will never get rid of it if you believe it's the president's job. I am only trying to help you.
But the reality is, none of you give a flying frick about H1bs, it is more TDS.

Cool, he still can't end visas. Only congress can.

Oracle needs to find 3,126 bad hombre illegals before he tries to bring in those Indians. Sucks to outsource this labor to cheap foreigners. Sadly many Americans don't want to work, or learn new skills. They just want to keep cashing those free checks. Seems like many people warned us 40 years ago what was gonna happen and we walked right into it wondering what hit us.

Trump actively courts these Tech shitlords and has never attempted to apply any kind of meaningful pressure against them. He has enormous leverage over them as President, and he’s show plenty of times he’s willing to use his office in some pretty unpredictable and unsavory ways to get what he wants. If he gave a shite about American jobs, he would have found a way to severely limit or halt these visas.
