Should be denied.
The Overton Window has shifted under OMB. All previous "shoulds" hold no water today.

When does DOJ file theirs?
Posted on 7/20/20 at 9:52 am to cajunangelle
The second he is free and clear he can talk / sue about what actually happened in public, he has the evidence to prove it, and he has the backing of the president to do so. The dems would be stupid not to delay delay delay until the last second, because we all know it implicates Biden directly.

the weird things you find in court cases...

With the withdrawal of the DoJ from the case, it's almost as if the judge is now the case's prosecutor. That's scary.

Judge Sullivan thinks he is Judge Dredd.

why hasnt this judge been disbarred yet? seriously
Posted on 7/20/20 at 10:17 am to keakar
This is, by all accounts, an irrelevant process crime. That a federal judge would be so determined to keep it alive when both the government and the Defendant agree a crime cannot be proven is proof that this is a political hit job.

Please cite the specific Rules of Professional Responsibility that you assert him to have violated and outline the facts which you believe would support disbarment.

I'm assuming at this point Sullivan is somehow directly compromised. There really is no other explanation for his conduct that I can ascertain.

Jesus Christ. You're not even trying anymore.

Why should he?
But if you are going to call for disbarment, the burden lies with YOU to elucidate the reasons that you think such a penalty would be justified.
And "OMB" is not a basis for disbarment.

Yeah unless he has some corrupt involvement in this case there is no reason for him to care about this case.

Ignoring his responsibility as the judge and choosing to prosecute the case in light of the DOJ moving to drop charges might be a start.
MIGHT.

Your statement might as well be a complaint about his selection of neckties.
Maybe his actions in this case (or his necktie collection) would be a valid reason to criticize him. But the post that started this discussion is not just a criticism ... it is a demand for disbarment. That is a somewhat higher standard.
The saddest part of this discussion is that some (dim)wit will begin asserting that I support Sullivan, when I have clearly stated that I do not care ... one way or the other. Here, simply requesting that a poster provide legitimate support for his position apparently constitutes "support" for the opposing position. Sad.

he has created a conflict of interest
not disbarment-worthy, most likely, but it's a serious offense

Thankfully, I don't have to make the case. Sidney Powell is doing a masterful job of it.
Of course, since you admittedly haven't been following the case, you have proven yourself not worthy of engaging, so I'll leave you to the pretty pictures.

So, you post a bunch of (someone's) opinion about the legitimacy of his rulings.
The remedy for bad rulings is appeal, not disbarment. So, "you got nothing." Unsurprising.

How about standing? When does a judge have standing in a case that is before him? Clown show
