They are Halloween costumes. Halloween costumes are often tacky. These certainly are, but your reaction is ... just a tad hyperbolic. Charlie Kirk was a political figure, not a religious icon.

Neighborhood or Party, sure

School? Nah

Because that's the explanation given for why something that appears dumb isn't.

Maybe they took a group picture in 24 or maybe they didn't. Either way, judging from the raging from posters here, their lives will be upset even if they release a pic from last year today.

I would 100% be on board of firing them if they were obviously making light of Charlie's murder.

I knew it wasn't something to be upset about as soon as I saw the pic. One teacher doing it because of Charlie? maybe. Two teachers? unlikely.

8 teachers in ARIZONA all get together and collectively say "lets do something stupid"

I’d be interested to know if other groups of teachers have worn shirts that look bloody to school for Halloween. Wearing bloody shirts to school would probably raise some eyebrows, especially for teachers.

Part of why this incident stood out is it appears nobody has seen it happen before

Glorifying murder isn’t “tacky”… it means you’re a psycho who shouldn’t be teaching kids.

The excuse of wearing a shirt that shows blood to school to promote solving an arbitrary math problem doesn’t pass the smell test

Still waiting on pic of them wearing it past year

Never forget that these teachers and the democrat party today would cheer and mock your death too.

It wouldn't matter.

Those looking to be outraged would continue to be outraged.

They would just shift to "They should not have worn them because they should have known that it would be interpreted as an attack on Charlie."

It is what it is.

It’s horse shite. The blood is on the side of the shirt where Kirk was shot and spewed blood. It’s quite obvious.

Even stupid people can recognize the meaning. They are not fit to teach our children. Reap what you sew. If they love blood on their shirts, maybe someone should oblige them. Then they could practice what they preach. The humor would have a new meaning.

i'm sorry your daily fake outrage turned out to be a popular slogan/t-shirt design instead of something nefarious

I’m sorry you’re an idiot who probably wasn’t hugged often during childhood. You didn’t deserve that.
