I would force them to go to a schoolboard meeting and defend their position in front of all the angry parents.
That would be traumatizing for them.
Including John Carruth. That reply was laughable at best.

Athens vs public teachers.
Apples and oranges slick. Perhaps you can't see the really really big difference.

"Its inappropriate but nothing needs to be done" is such a pussy response.
quote:The "point" that you proved for me is that you are an emotional child on some issues, despite providing entirely reasonable analysis of other topics.
You continue to prove my point.
Again, it is fascinating.
Most people are either reasonable or nutcases. You have a serious case of message board schizophrenia.

Ok. Let’s see the pictures from last year.

That was the worst part. He literally bashed anyone who was bothered by their outfits.
The entire profession is rotten.

Wait, you are comparing that to what the OP linked?
Your false equivalency (as is usual for you goose-steppers) is duly noted.

I would have no problem justifying a bit of counseling from the HR department or something similar. "Sarah, you must realize that our classrooms are not a platform for you to express your political views. Let's not do this again, OK?"
"Suspension?" Probably not, unless there is a history of similar behavior.

It would depend upon the school. I estimate that probably 25% would respond as I outlined, while probably 75% would overreact as you have described.
I don’t think there is a single teacher at any school in the USA that could survive wearing a costume mocking the murder of MLK. I think that neither should be tolerated. The amount of ignorance and lack of foresight it takes to wear a costume mocking someone who was murdered is a sure sign someone shouldn’t be entrusted to educate anyone. Some people deserve to lose their careers over a stupid mistake, these teachers are among those people. They can find work doing something else while pondering how it all went wrong.

Wow. I'm in awe, They are so brave.

All the public school teachers I know are leftist vermin. This is how generations get brainwashed

We need a significant statement that is heard across the country to put the children all on notice that their evil foolery will not go unpunished anymore. Put them in a round pen and whip them till they bleed.

Reasonable minds can certainly differ. We are trying to prognosticate hypothetical future events.

And it’s just a coincidence that the blood is only on their left side this year.

This is the problem with the progressives, there are no consequences for their actions in practically any case. This leads to them being even more emboldened to do violent things or support violent things.
Just like 86 47 is easily interpreted by anyone not lying to themselves, there is no other way that this can be logically interpreted other than mocking/celebrating the death of a person that they disagree with.
The consequences you suggest? Ok, guys, just don’t let it happen again. Mmmmk?
Posted on 11/1/25 at 1:24 pm to RelentlessAnalysis
The odds of it being a coincidence are slim to none

I have said "86 this" or "86 that" for my entire life. To me, it just means "get rid of." There are several means for "getting rid of" a President. Sure, assassination is one of them. So is impeachment.
In fairness, I suspect that some number of Dems do not care WHICH approach were used to "get rid of" Trump, so long as the result was "no Trump."
But it is unrealistic to assert that the ONLY interpretation is "kill Trump."
