there has been about 200,000 refugees a month coming across the southern US border this year. Need to question if the same resettlement/vetting process is being used for the southern illegals. the same issues of sickness, terriorism and burden to local community exist

It really sounds like that they are convinced that there is an imminent attack by al queda planned and that by not allowing afghans close to the airport and the taliban keeping them away the attackers cannot mix with locals.
This would be embarrassing as Joe just said there was no al queda.
Also it would show the stupidity of giving up Bagram which could have been defended against such attacks.
