At this point the Taliban are keeping Afghans away at the request of the US.
There were reports last night that the airport had been closed to all Afghans, including SIVs. That report came from this administration.
Do not fall into the trap that the Taliban are the ones keeping Afghans away. We are relying on them, a terrorist organization, to do our bidding in that regard.

Another problem was we were pulling all these people out with no idea who they are. Many without any visas.
Other countries probably told us they were not taking them. Anybody we pulled out was our problem.

There are alot of legitimate problems with this whole deal, but this isn't one of them. Multiple countries have taken in hundreds or thousands of Afghan refugees throughout the evacuation.
