Jennifer Griffin: "How are you fueling your planes, the C-17s, are you now in a position where you have to buy fuel from the Taliban?"

Maj. Gen Hank Taylor"ummm....the assets....ahh....on HKAI.....on the airfield are ....uhhh....what we need to maintain the operations...all operations to support the mission."

Jennifer Griffin: "So that's a 'No' you are not buying fuel from the Taliban?"

Kirby quickly interrupts Hank to keep him from adding more info

Admiral John Kirby: "So there is....there is plenty of fuel...to sustain the capability at Hamid Karzai Airport and as you know Jen we also have the ability...of our...on our own....the logistics ability...to fuel our aircraft as needed."

Kirby confirms the US is buying fuel from the Taliban the second he said "we also have the ability...of our...on our own"

No way we are buying fuel from the taliban.

If you watch the flightaware website throughout the day there are at least 2 US refueling planes off the coast at all times.

Look for the planes that say "No Call Sign". Those are in air refuelers.

You want to explain to me how our small military aircraft are refueling where it is logistically impossible to refuel in the air craft?

If you think that I meant that they’d literally replace their flag with the Chinese flag, then no that’s not going to happen. If you mean that China has the majority of Africa in its grasp and the leaders of their countries do as they’re fricking told by the CCP, then yeah, we’re there.

So, to clarify, China has "taken over" Africa because they gave them more money we did, and that is a problem. Do you believe we should have given African governments more money then to stave off this Chinese encroachment?

That's also an awfully soft way to define "taking over Africa."

Got into with a Leftist last week and said that Biden made everything better, and when I asked him to name one he said “well… everything.” “No, too vague. What specifically has gotten better under Biden?” *crickets*

I think a lot of times this is just because the tone of media coverage changed. People who consume and believe a lot of mainstream media can be made to feel better simply because they are told things are better, even if things (crime, inflation, foreign policy disasters) are objectively worse.

The quote says C17s. I guess the cia can buy fuel from whoever they want.

The C17 would go something like this...

I think that was his point. Those smaller air crafts can’t be refueled mid air

We bring refueling tankers over southern Afghanistan but when they cross the border they turn off their transponders.

They are there to refuel fighters, probably not transport planes.

No, they came in and gave them mass infrastructure presenting it as a gift, but between the fine lines of the contracts really put them in massive debt to them that they couldn’t hope to pay back. They are now bound to China’s will and fear what they can do to them. Think of China as Ursula since they’re fans of doing dirty deals that greatly benefit idiots in the short term but in the long term really, really frick them over and in the end all of these people and countries end up in her garden:

No, because I’m against colonialism. China just shouldn’t have done it.

By taking over I mean completely bound to their whims and will. We’re there.

100% deflection. Notice he never really voices any personal opinion. He doesn't have one, it's collective with all leftists.

Oh I get his point, his quote says C17s and then he picks some small CIA Cessna to try to make a point.

Its all good, we are all on the same side here.

Its very emotional, this is one of those things where its not take personally. We can all learn something and combine info to figure out wtf is going on.

Biden isn’t. Probably sold them to them.

Face it, the Chinese own us now. Covid, the voting scam, Biden.

It all makes sense. They knew they couldn’t beat us by conventional means and they knew trump was kicking their arse so this was their answer. Release a virus and install their puppet
