Apparently the Biden administration came out and said they are aware of congestion at the airport… they’re acting as if someone just got a flat tire on the interstate.

Really brutal take by the Aussie press on Biden and US Media

US's "fading President", "bewildered geriatric" and totally ill prepared or equipped to be the leader of the US.

Embarrassing

Yeah, didn't they keep their embassy up and running until they had to fall back because they ran out of food and water?

State department spokesman, Ned Price, said that 20 evacuation flights would leave Kabul international airport tonight, as evacuation efforts continue.

More consular officers have been sent to double the capacity to process those trying to flee Afghanistan, Price added.

“This is an operation that will continue at as fast a clip as we can possibly manage,” Price said.

Yet they are sending planes not even near being filled. The problem is getting to the airport safely. Another 1, 100, 1,000, or 10,000 pencil pushers aren't going to matter if the people can't get there. Biden will go down as the worst president in modern history.

But undocumented people from God knows where, just show up at the southern border and come on in. Oh and don't forget to fill out your DNC registration forms and we will take care of the voting for you come election time. Thanks.

Below is a real story that comes from PIA Captain Maqsood Birjani, detailing his flight as one of the last civilian aircraft to depart out of Kabul, Afghanistan.

quote:

Then, keeping the volatile situation in mind, I discussed with my first officer that if we had to we would depart the aircraft without clearance, keeping in mind my responsibilities towards my passengers, company and my country.

In my mind I was thinking god forbid if we are caught or kept in Afghanistan, we could be used as hostages and I was worried for the safety of my passengers and crew.

My first officer agreed with me and we decided that approved or not we were departing, as we could not stay where we were.

After an hour or so of waiting for clearance, Kabul ATC said they were are shutting down and that the airfield was now uncontrolled.

I could see lots of military aircraft departing and I made the decision to take off. I had to avoid military traffic helicopters and troop carriers on the departure, but fortunately the visibility was clear. If it had been cloudy, I don't know how we would have done that.
