Called that date since June. Went to shite a different way than I anticipated it, and it is simply shell shocking us. Just wait when we depart Afghanistan in a little less than two weeks and leave over 10,000 Americans to death and sex slavery. That’s when everyone really goes crazy.

Lol, I missed this earlier today.

US Customs and Border Protection personnel deployed to Afghanistan

Customs and Border Protection sent additional personnel to Doha on Wednesday to help assist in the processing of people leaving Afghanistan en route to the US, according to a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson.

The move comes as DHS ramps up staffing to handle processing for the influx of Afghans fleeing their country amid the Taliban takeover.

Agency officials are in Doha working on processing, screening and vetting Afghan Special Immigrant Visa applicants and other eligible vulnerable Afghan nationals before they travel to the US, the spokesperson said.

The agency requested additional support this week from its field operations division, which is responsible for border security, as well as facilitating lawful trade and travel at ports of entry.

Stunning new poll numbers from Rasmussen Reports suggest nearly 1 in 10 Democrats regret their vote in the 2020 Presidential election, with 12 percent of ‘Moderates’ saying the same, and 14 percent of Black Americans expressing regret.

I guess it's "stunning" in how disturbing it is. Inflation, open borders, CRT, Afghanistan, and erosion of liberty at the federal level and ONLY ~11% of Biden voters regret their decisions? It's fricking disgusting.

ETA: I get that that kind of swing in voting can heavily swing a (legit) election. But aside from the top 0.1% and leaches that refuse to work, how can anyone possibly be happy with this administration?

US should have been trading protection for rights to their rare Earth minerals.

Then we wouldn't have to worry about China, as much.

Don’t worry, the White House had more important things to do than evacuating innocent people, like filming TikTok videos with flaming homosexuals.

It is disturbing but we aren't even 8 months in. Give it time and it will get worse.

And then Potato Head strokes out and we get Horizontal Harris.

Should be good for a bump in the numbers.

Honestly I think I’m better than them. I’m a drunk, but at least I’m motivated. Wouldn’t say that about them.

CIA’s Former Counterterrorism Chief for the Region: Afghanistan, Not An Intelligence Failure — Something Much Worse

Anyone happen to catch the Tucker Carlson interview w/. Lara Logan? Ties into this article seamlessly and re-iterates that in no way was this an intelligence failure. We had mentioned Pakistan previously a dozen or so pages back and how they’re an integral part of this story. Admittedly we’re all caught up in all the chaos and placing of blame on the military or Biden, justifiably. She proposes something far more nefarious she’s like whomever is pulling the strings wants this outcome, who’s actually running the U.S.?

[Quote]
Logan further added that the U.S. combined intel capabilities between the Fort Meade, Md.-based National Security Administration and the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency at Fort Belvoir, Va., have always had the capability to monitor and collect data from around the world.
In that way, she noted how the feds consistently discuss the humanitarian aspect of the southern border crisis and the Kabul collapse:
"The staggering part to me is that when you hear this debate, "The intelligence agencies failed to see this." Seriously? The NSA is known as the crown jewel of intelligence collection in the world. There isn't a digital signature in existence that they don't collect and store and analyze and have algorithms and everything else to sort through," she said.
The idea that they missed this.. You know what it takes to do an invasion like this? You have to stage forces. You have to plan. You have to have meetings. You have to have, you know, weapons that are moving in. They don't tell you the national security threat posed by letting the cartels come across the southern border, do they? They only have a conversation about one thing, the humanitarian aspect. They never address that."
"What they're not addressing right now [is] all of the Al Qaeda and other Islamic terrorist literature and communications that they're picking up that are celebrating [the collapse of Afghanistan] as a massive defeat."
Logan posited that the NGIA, which controls government satellites and other armaments, has been watching the Taliban taking control of abandoned U.S. military equipment; bringing it back east into Pakistan.
"The NSA and the [NGIA] are watching this happen in real time," she claimed.
"And they're doing nothing to stop it. Why not? So what the Afghans will tell you…is that the United States chose this outcome."
The United States government could change this even today. And they don't do it. They don't use the leverage they have with Pakistan. They'll give you 5,000 reasons, but it doesn't matter."

regards world star-like a comedy sketch..........I think the 5 minute tape shows the American function really screwed the pooch in putting together a staffing training program for the afghans , It starts with recruitment, hiring folks that are willing to work, and compensating them, and showing progress etc. All I saw the trainers do is bitch. But that is not their fault. They needed competent organization development help that was not provided by their leadership.

I had a friend who was visiting family in Lebanon when shite hit the fan there in 2006. She said some special ops dudes basically busted in, threw bags over their heads, and next thing she knew they were safely on a flight out (though still shaking uncontrollably). Is that not something we can do for our people in Afghanistan now?

So you've told the Taliban it's open season on Americans with no bag limit.
